New 03 Cl type S owner (Pics)

So I just picked up a pretty clean acura cl type s 6 speed. It has 107k. Im in located in North dallas and I bought this car to have a nice confortable efficient car. I just recently Sold my Trans Am ws6 modded to hell to buy this car. The Trans Am was fun and faster than any car I will ever have but it is time for somthing a lot different! By the way I picked this car up for 8000 bucks. Do yall think I payed the right price?

The last owner told me he has not done the timing belt yet so im guessing he was saying he has not done the 105k service yet. Any good shops around would be a plus! or some Diy threads! Were is the best place to buy the parts for this service?

Here is a link to the album the owner made to sell it to me.

The password is acuracl

you can buy the timing belt items from a sponsored vendor here:

https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-cl-2001-2003-50/timing-belt-special-still-going-strong-%40-%24299-shipped-821766/

Check the Regions forum up top, pop over to Texas and look for the Dallas thread, introduce yourself and I'm sure you'll find tons of great help on local shops, meets, etc.

good luck, when in doubt, check all of the sub forums above for answers to most questions.

Congrats on the car bro, she's a beaut! I myself was in the same boat when I bought my TL-S and like you, I gave up my life long belief system on buying and owning domestics (ford and Chevy in specific). I never once regretted my decision because Honda/Acura makes one of the most dependable/trustworthy lineup of vehicles in the world. I also realized all that I ever liked about the domestics were the V8's they possessed and even those were of a poor, outdated design that only made a lot of power because of its size! Then you make a very basic understanding that the 03 mustang gt makes 260Hp. And a 1995 Camaro Z28 (LT1) makes about 275hp. Not to mention a 2003 Cadillac 4.6L DOHC V8 makes around 285hp. What's my point?

A 2003 Acura CL/TL Type S makes 265hp on only 6 cylinders! Now that my friend is impressive. Honda has mastered fuel economy, performance and of course intelligence to create (as mentioned) one of the best lineup of cars in the world!

I now own 3 Acura's...well, 4 as of lastnight and will be an Acura owner and fan until the day I die. All of my kids, if you ask them, will tell you that Acura is the best car in the world. Lol...

..those LS1's might pull 10s in the 1/4 but they got nothin on VTEC y0! haha

The price is slightly high but it is increasingly difficult to find a CL in that condition. Makes a great highway cruiser.
