Gearing Question?

If you read the thread on lack of power, they were speaking about the gears are too long and that is what worsens our Accl. Is there anything to overcome this. Will a chip or ECU work do this, if so does anyone have any information about either of them. What can we do to shorten the gear ratios. Thanks, Anthony.

You'll have to rebuild the transmission to change the gear ratios.

Oh I thought work could be done in the cars computer to change something like that, making them shorter I mean, so we could get to fast in low gears like the Q45. Also what can we do to fix that fkn tall ass 4th gear. It isn't fun and I spend a lot of time driving at that speed.

The computer can change shift points, shift firmness, speed, etc. But gears are pieces of steel made to a specific size. You could change the final drive which would effectively make all of the gears shorter, but that would still require opening it up.
