CL's Body Roll
Do you think the CL has a lot of body roll? I'd like to tighten it up without lowering it, does anyone here have sway bars stock suspension?

I talked to someone on AIM that did this before... I forget who it was.
But... I dont think sways on a stock suspension would be a problem.
Talk to the guys at Comptech... they should have some info on that.

I forgot to mention... yea... the body roll is pretty severe... especially in a slalom type situation... this car transfers its weight with authority
There she blows lol

Yea, Kevin... can I ask why you dont want to lower it at all?
I mean... I too am not a fan of really low cars... but the Comptech springs barely lower it an inch. They just reduce the gap between the tires and the fender... gives it a german car look. Not ricey at all

Actually Soop, I'm a big fan of lowering for the sake of better handling. I lowered my Maxima with Eibachs/Tokicos. The reason I want to hold off on the CL is that I want to keep the ride as smooth as possible for a long time. It's not to say that in the futre I'll change my mind but for now I'm content on keep the springs stock.

Safety Car
Kevin,
I agree with you, I do not want to seriously alter the ride of my toy. My last car had adjustable Koni's, sway bars and springs and handled like a slot car, but I think I am getting too old for that type of nonsense; I just turned 50. I am ordering the sway bars tonight and will have them installed at the 15,000 mile service in a couple of weeks. My previous experience with sway bars only was with a 1969 Volvo and a 1969 & 1970 VW Beetle. If the bars only make half as much difference as they did on the Volvo, I will be a very happy camper! Bob at Comptech said that a lot of the bars they are selling are the only item being changed on the suspension and they are having good results. Another reason for not wanting to lower the car with springs is that I use a friends cabin in the Sierra's near Yosemite Nat'l Park and this car is already almost too low to get to it.

Yeah, My Maxima is lowered right now with Eibachs and I got the sway bars and everything too., The sway bar with out the springs on the Maxima made a heck of a difference, but I think I'm more in the luxury state of ming for the CL, that's all.
Here's a pic of the MAx
