milage on car?
overheat while driving might indicate some other issues
you need to remove thermostat and make sure it is installed correctly and that you have properly tightened it

first plz mention why u did the rad and thermostat change in the first place... was there a problem u needed to fix?
are u 100% positive u put it in the right way and not backwards??? this happens more often than u think.
if it is stuck closed u will only have the upper rad line get hot and the lower rad line will stay MUCH cooler in comparison.
2 are u sure u put the rad lines back in the same order?
u may have crossed the lines at the thermostat and that would overheat the car too i believe.
my money is on you put something in the wrong spot.. happens to us all.... eventually
