2001 cl type s overheating while drive not while idling
Ok I changed thermostat changed radiator n now the car overheats after half hour of driving i flushed the radiator as well. Um now it leaks from the thermostat housing I dnt knw if waterpuMp is out or what please help me
first plz mention why u did the rad and thermostat change in the first place... was there a problem u needed to fix?
are u 100% positive u put it in the right way and not backwards??? this happens more often than u think.
if it is stuck closed u will only have the upper rad line get hot and the lower rad line will stay MUCH cooler in comparison.
2 are u sure u put the rad lines back in the same order?
u may have crossed the lines at the thermostat and that would overheat the car too i believe.
my money is on you put something in the wrong spot.. happens to us all.... eventually
