Wish i had mine to meet u guys up. Also i started my car the other day for shits and giggles (after i charged the battery). She stared up fine but i noticed my D5 light was flashing- Ne idea what this colud mean? Thein / Matt?

when you hit the wall, you might have also hit a sensor and takin it out, so just needs a new sensor (and hopefully it did not crack the tranny case either)

 

Cracked Tranny Case!!!! Shit does that mean my Tranny could be screwed? Really hope nt, Hope its just a Sensor. Shes nt leaking any fluid at all so could that be a good sign

 

just stateing an extreme case, very possible though, but as far as leaking kinda would have to be driven some, since it might be above the fluid level (or it might also have cut some wiring at the same time also idk, or it could even be as simple as a sensor unplugged, and because the ecu does not see it, it is flashing the light)

 

hard to know exactly what happened damage wise without ever seeing the damage, other then some photos

you can look, but for somebody like me, it might not take as long, but really all you are really looking for is something unusual (and getting the code/s first would do wounders though for pointing you in the right direction, with being able to pay particular attention to said sensor and it's wire routing)

 

Where do I look my good sir? Also kinda hard to get the codes seein as I cnt take car newhere unless I pay a tow truck to take it to a shop. Ne1 have a cose reader I can borrow or willin to pull for me?

 

look, in the general vincity of the damaged area (and on the tranny obviously)
but i would say look around the very front left area, especially where the battery tray is, sheetmetal/frame gets kinda close to a couple of things there on the tranny

my new RSB is on its way to me, it is the 20mm bar, same as 04-06 MT TL and 07-08 TL-S. i got it from a seller on here, was giving it away for free, just had to pay shipping, which was around $10. then the bushings for the larger RSB from Acura is $3, so final cost to me is $13

 

Nice buy man! You planning on going to a bigger rsb in the future though?

 

i haven't decided if i'm going to do anything suspension wise, if i do, i'll go bigger, but for the meantime, this upgrade will be sufficient.

i originally had plans for wheels, aspec suspension, and aspec kit, but that will probably change. it just depends on what i get for my settlement from my accident, i would like to spend some on the TL and then use the money for other needs.

nice spelling lol, but yeah factory bushings do not need to be lubed, but for smoother operation though, a lube job helps (pull apart your factory sway bushings, and you won't find any lube in there fyi)
