just picked up my TL from Acura. Got the Power Steering Rack replaced and covered under my extended warranty. It got replaced because I kept getting a clicking/popping noise when i turned the steering wheel while parked. It came down to being excessive play in the tie rods and pinon. My steering felt loose/easy before, now the steering is stiff and feels much better.

you know the the steering rack can be adjusted for getting a little play in it, but you need some big sucker ass wrenches though

and are you sure it was not just the brake pads shifting back and fourth in the slides, alot of times those will made said sound especially when you change direction, but also possible when parked too

Acura diagnosed the problem down to the steering rack and the extended warranty covered everything. The sound is gone now. It happened only when i turned the steering wheel right real quick and when i turned it all the way. When you had the front end of the car raised and turned the steering wheel real quick, you heard popping/clicking as well.

How did you spin out? Were you going to fast? Did you get that stud and lug nut issue resolved?

Good thing is that you and your brother made it out without serious injury.

I almost a had a close call with an 18-wheeler and an accord coupe a few days ago on Chambers and I-70

Was only doin 75 MPH around that bend, have no idea how or Y car lost traction. Was planin on goin back to Goodyear today but thats nt goin happen. Ne chance this couldve played a part? Car is in the impound til tomorrow. looked totaled to me, but i just hope i have no frame damage. But then again i have the Airbag issue to deal with.

I doubt it would, but those bald tires you have could. Or you hit like a dip or something and the car bounced causing ABS/VSA to kick in and slip. Who knows. You can blame it on Kevin for giving you bald ass tires. Or even worse shitty Falken tires. Haha

Easy Thien.

1) I didn't know the condition, as they were at my buddy Andy's house. They were wrapped up in Discount Tire bags.
2) I was only trying to help a buddy out.
3) Watch your accusations.
