Well known colleges in Colorado?

For Aziners that live in Colorado or know about the area, i'm looking for a 2nd opinion... What colleges/community colleges would you recommend?

I'm thinking of changing the route of where my life is going and to move there and get registered by fall this year. I'm going to be majoring in Computer Networking.

Also for those that live in CO, what cell phone service seems to work the best? Specifically around Colorado springs and Breckenridge area... I currently have t-mobile.

thanks

CU-Boulder, CU-Denver, CSU, Colorado College, School of Mines, University of Denver, University of Nothern Colorado (I'd avoid at all costs), and that's about all I can think of at the moment.

I recommend CSU -Ft Collins if you want a good place to go out when not doing schoolwork and for the college type enviroment.

I go to Univ. Of North Colorado and yeah it get pretty damn boring and stinky at times cause of the farms.

For phone service T-Mobile works pretty good all around Colorado. I have At&t and sometimes get service where T-Mobile doesn't but that only out in undeveloped areas.

* CSU Alum here... great school, great town.

* CU Boulder - all rivalry aside, not a huge fan of the town... school is alright enough... but the liberal / hippy / progressive people really grate on my soul.

* Mines - engineering school... great for oil / gas / etc.

* DU - private, expensive, great reputation.

* CU Denver - Extension of CU system... much different mindset of community... good programs, depending on area of study.

* Colorado College - private, 1 class at a time curriculum.

* University of Northern Colorado - well known for nursing, education, music, and business. The town is not as bad as folks make it out to be... but people often drive to Ft. Collins / Denver (30 minutes / 1 hour, respectively) for a night out on the town.

* Metro State - commuter school... decent from what I hear.

* Community colleges, etc. - I would assume same as everywhere else.

Concerning cell phone providers... Verizon dominates here... AT&T is fine too. Other than that, I'm not entirely sure... all but three or four people I know use one of those 2 services.

Yeah I kinda figured Verizon too from comparing coverage maps with others.

Also after a little researching CU Boulder is crossed off my list for other reasons and, I think releasing a buffalo to run around on a football field every home game is a little too much lol...

Don't forget about University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) or Pikes Peak Community College. Obviously, both located in Colorado Springs, not Denver.
