yeah i am impressed with Jodi. no surprising bills and what not. I will probably take my car there for regular oil changes now instead of a local shop here.

Let me know how everything goes with the recall

I remember when I had my TL, a lot of sellers on Ebay was selling the none oem ones but they were made out of glass. And that's something you'd want to avoid because rocks will crack the glass, it might be worth it to spend a little more that's OEM.

Yeah, they haven't been around too long but now they are hitting the car scene pretty hard, in fact I think a couple of TL's on this forum including the purple one is rocking them.

Hey Utah peeps. Figured I'd pay a visit here. Been posting on AZine for a while but never visited the regional forum. Mostly hang out on the general 3G TL forum and performance mods areas. I never seem to see anyone from Utah posting in the general and performance 3G TL forums so it's good to see a few are out there.

Native Utahn. I live in Eagle Mountain, work in the SL valley. My avatar is my TL in the U of U parking lot :P

It's exactly the same over in the UT section on ClubLexus, but I managed to bug everyone I know on the forums and got the word around that there was a Lexus meet, and surprisingly there was about 25+ Lexus's showed up. So someone should do the same in here and set one up, people will show up even if that means I have to be there lol.

Have any pictures of the plasti dipped wheels?

I wanna pick some up and do the grill/wheels but still debating on if I should or not. Previous owner was a chick and she curbed the rims up pretty bad so I figure black would make it less noticeable until I pick up new stockers or go with another set.

Yeah I ended up just doing it haha.

Started a thread in the 3g gallery you can see mine in there, but ended up doing the wheels and front grill. Turned out pretty good and covered up the curb rash so I am satisfied

^ I was going to plastidip mine as well (Stock UA6's) but forked it out for some Enkei RPF01's to drop some weight.

What tires is everyone sporting for winter comming? Just picked up a couple new DWS's since I'd worn the front one's down after two years of "spirited" driving

Nice, I am going to pick up a set once I find the right ones that fit the TL just haven't really looked around.....and the curb rashed stockers made the car look horrible so gonna rock it till spring then throw on some new rims.

As for tires, I have decently new Uniroyal Tiger Paw GTZ All Seasons.......hope they will do okay as I have never used them in winter, but coming from a bmw/mustang and driving them daily for many winters im sure ill be good lol.

I like em. They're a compromise on handling due to the soft sidewall. But they grip very well in the winter and aren't bad at all in the summer. I'd say they're just about as good as the Blizzaks I used to sport on my Accord as far as snow and ice go. But once they lose the "W" on the "DWS" lettering they basically turn into racing slics. They're still decent in the rain but totally a no-go in the snow.

I'm pretty critical of tires but I'd recommend these. Although they're not as good as separate sets of dedicated winter/summer tires, they're the next best thing. And they're relatively inexpensive.
