i accidently rubbed off some of the chrome[didnt know it'd rub off.wtf]

i got silicon all over my body and its still there today

i forgot to put that silver disk thing back in on the driver light

i left fingerprints on the inside of my lens lol

i shouldnt have rushed it. at least it came out good thoughh

 

SO FAR it hasnt fogged up so im glad for that lol

 

when you have time you can always redo it if it bothers you.

I'm not surprised, they stripped the threads on my oil pan when they last changed my oil. That was 7 years ago, haven't been back since.

Hah, definitely not, but any girl that drives a TL is a winner in my book.

I rarely venture all the way down to SLC just because I have zero reasons to go down (no family, etc), but I think I saw this TL you're referring to when I was driving down to Provo last Friday. It was actually kinda funny...I'm in the middle lane, and this ASPEC TL was next to me matching my speed, and then a white 06 came up right behind. We were convoying for a while, I felt like I was in an action movie for a few minutes.

Then again, I'm still trying to figure out the other two TL owners up here in Logan- there's only three of us up here I've seen. There's me (my 2004 Black TL), one guy with a silver TL up on campus (ugly rims, though, his is an 04) and a white one I see once in a while (also an 04). I saw two other TLs the other day but I'm 99% sure they are people just in town for Christmas, probably from Provo or SLC going to school down there.

I do have to admit, though, that being up here in Logan makes my car stand out that much more. Not that I'm complaining, of course

 

I saw a 3rd Gen yellow TL earlier today going to work... that was one ugly TL.

1)Are you obtaining another pair new?
2)If so, where do you believe you are getting the best price?
3)Judging from your avatar, what setup did you go with (on the TL)? Size and offset?
4)Any info or advice you can share with me?

 

Yeah i'm getting a new pair of TE, the place that gave me the best price was VIP Status in Cali ask for Rick he can hook you up with a pretty go deal, the TE that was on my TL was 19x8.5 +43 offset, at the time I didn't know anything about offsets so I went with a pretty high one just to be safe, but now knowing what I know I would have went with a staggered setup of 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear with a +22 offset, I personally think that is the perfect size and offset for the TL. Here's a picture of BforBrian's car with 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear +22 offset, as you can see it sits flush with the fender.

So far I'm thinking I wanna try and find a carbon fiber hood, but haven't seen any pics on an actual car... Maybe grab the 07 tail lights, or just murder mine out... Haven't decided yet. What y'all think?
