Hey where do you all get your alignment done in SLC? The dealership is bit too pricey for me to do regular alignments for my wife's car. I just need to see a print out of the alignment specs once the job is done. Any recommendations?

Vidur, I would recommend any Firestone shop. They have lifetime alignments.

Yeah mine's on the fritz. It just resets perpetually and doesn't go to the main menu anymore. I'm not planning on fixing it. Not worth the dough when I have maps on my phone.

Also other pieces can be wrapped in and around the car those are easier and come out really well. I do wrap those but the center grille I wouldn't advise. It starts to seperate from sun exposure later on.

Yeah the cheapest fix first is to pop open the steering fluid resovoir to see if there are any bubbles in the fluid when the car is running. There may just be a simple leak and you'll have to do the O-ring fix to see if it cures things.
If that's not the case then check the fluid level and see if its leaking or dropping quickly. And finally if the steering gets hard at parking speed and makes a sound then the PS rack's seals may be failing.
Do you get a lot of torque steer that you have to fight while driving hard?

Don't tell the tech diagnosing the issue what you think it is though. See what he tells you. At Jody Wilkinson its about 1000 if you're replacing the whole rack but they give a 3 year warranty on it.
It may not necessarily be that much since you don't have to change the rack but do your research. I've heard of people buying a used rack and paying for labor at any shop bringing down the price.
