Looks kik ass man. But idk I think I rather carry around the key chain and have a set price on alarm install and all instead of do a year to year plan

and what happens if your phone was to die also (like that has never happened for many)

and key fob is still much faster too access and open the car, cause no turning on the screen, looking for the application, opening the application, and then pressing the button you want, etc., etc.

 

the key features (to me):

-distance is no longer a handicap factor, as it uses the radio waves (3g) to remote start your car. I could be two blocks away.

-the alerts sent straight to your phone, (alarm went off, ludwig has stolen your car, etc.)


but i have already ruled out alarm. i'm not gonna pay a yearly subscribtion.. it's
plus i upgraded to switchblades not too long ago

mine works like 125 feet away or so, but yes technically you could be in another country and still have it work though (and i don't think it is "radio waves" but a celluar signal (basically another telephone installed in the car), so the reason for the yearly fee, also what happens if you go in the mountions or something and lose cell reception (or parking garage, etc.)

what happens if the phone is off, or on vibrate, still pointless

 

no i agree; in theory and appearance this, seems like a sweet thing to have

but it all relies on an iphone

but if you already have a compatible alarm (i think my old one was), you will still have a remote and the phone app now

 

which is still useless without a subscription

 

yeah, that was the number one con... 29.99 /yr

 

, i thought you were talking about $100 or something a year not just $30, but still gotta pay for it every year to work though (plus buy the module and such itself)
