Question Moving From NJ to Boulder, CO. Need Advice

In late July/early August im going to be moving to the Boulder area and i need some advice on driving conditions in the area. I currently have a 2006 NBP TL, dropped 1.5" and have 18" chrome aspec wheels and at some point a full catback exhaust and aspec lip kit. Now my question is..Is my car a reasonable vehicle to be driving in Colorado, or should i purchase a bigger/AWD vehicle. Ive never driving outside the tristate area and i hate shitty roads with pot holes and scraping the bottom of my car. I get the feeling that parts of CO will destroy my car but than again, ive never seen the driving conditions there. If anyone can give me some feedback on this it would be greatly appreciated and if you live around there maybe we can cruise some time. Thanks
