The shop specialices(sp?) in awd, subarus, mitsus, and shit.. that's what they know best, but want to really get into the honda scene.. and when he heard about our cars being v6 he really got intersted.. He wants to know more and work more on the bigger hondas, us

 

just asked a friend, and he wants to possibly run his BMW 330Xi too (reason for the awd dyno)

I called them up to ask how much it is to tune. Man, they charge $350 to tune. Screw that.

 

Yeah Mac usually overcharges for tunes. ImportSports has better rates and and better people imo.

 

ImportSports wanted to charge me $295, and thats with a hookup. I kind of know Sam. Well, I know people who knows Sam.

i've gotten my first boosted car tuned there.. never ran right, untill I decided to tune it my self.. was super rich and timing was pulled sooo much... Also had an H22 built that threw a rod through the block... I've also seen them at Bandimere a couple of times with freshly built cars that last like three or four runs.

Pretty much, I just don't like them, have never had good experience with them

real cool guys though, and the shop looks nice

Just looked this up but have u called TC performance or PFI? If there still out there

 

PFI is still around, but they are all the way out in Fort Collins. TC Performance is long gone. There is Revolution down in the springs. Racing Trenz is still around, but they are a total rip off even though I know the owners. I had my tune done by Corsports, but they no longer do any tunes.

I'm tuned on AEM FIC.

Greddy sucks let alone the e-manage gets detuned after a month on my car. The only way around it is to run e-manage and ultimate e-manage.

Never had Greddy. Everyone who went S/C with the same cars as mine went that route. I found out that the AEM FIC was the only one that won't detune after a month.

 

So I just got off the phone with Mac, and was gonna set up an appointment for the 20th.. Me and my brother in-law are going.. So anyone else gonna wanna go, so I can let them know???

 

Yeah, PFI is waaay out there.. Racing Trenz, yeah they're pretty pricy.. never heard anything good or bad about them though.. TC, never heard of them.. Revolution, never heard of the either.. CorSports I've seen some really nice clean work from them...

Who else can tune FIC around here??
