Strong pull from that AP2, I was expecting the K24 to walk away from it.

if you log in to your google account, I believe you can THEN upload since they're all linked. I personally don't use google plus but I know I can with the access I get with my gmail sign in.

Hope this is better.
That S2K is fully bolted as far as I know. He won't say what he's done to it and just says its stock.

Why? K24 isn't really much stronger than a K20? I thought the K24 just had a slight torque advantage. I bet he's not modded like you are.

S2000 looked very lightly bolted, maybe the OP can come in and tell me I'm wrong but all I saw was a carbon fiber intake, didn't see a header, but maybe I missed it and the exhaust looked stock when he pulled the RSX,

Yes, he ALMOST kept up and he had to swap in a motor to do so. RSX especially off a roll where you lose the RWD advantage from the S2K is basically right there with it in stockish form. Before I even owned my RSX, my buddy had a stock AP1 S2K and friends brother had an 02-04 RSX-S w/ CAI + 05 exhaust and off a roll the RSX was actually a tad quicker. Not saying this will happen in all cases, but considering I've seen many intake only RSX's trapping 97-98 mph in the 1/4 before I think the results are pretty accurate. Not to mention my own encounters with S2K's....wasn't pretty for them and this was even before my cam setup.

Maybe the RSX is a minor build and basically stock? That short ram intake certainly is not helping make any power.

I guess what I'm getting at is basically what I said in my original post. If I were to have swapped in a K24 and lost to a S2K off a roll, I'd be pretty upset! I guess what I'm also trying to say is that RSX must have a very basic setup, probably making under 230whp but just close to 180wtq. First thing I would do is ditch that crappy SRI for a good CAI and pick up 5-10whp right there. Would love to know a legit mod list on both of these cars??? Seems kinda just like assumptions are being made about that S2K. Full bolt ons, I doubt it...that car was quiet as fvck.

I haven't run any S2000's with my new setup, my experience comes from basic bolt ons only, even before I was tuned I put a 225lb passenger in my car w/ I/RH/E and pulled AP2 S2K with driver only, granted he was stock.

Second run he even got a head start too soon junior!

Yeah, no way to know, man. For all you know the guy had a hondata tune, that adds a good 20-25...plus, the redline. I guess there are too many factors to know for sure.

I actually had a blaze orange RSX-S before my TL. I lit up a local guy with a RSX-S when I got my 6MT TL (I miss that baby) and to me, my S2000 seems fast than that but it might just be how loud and small it is when accelerating.

Honestly, I don't get too caught up in that stuff...if someone wants to play, sometimes I bite, but always end up with a thumbs up no matter the outcome.

The information I could gather from the drivers are as follows
K24 Block
K20 head
SRI
Lightweight crank pulley
05 Type-S Cams
Si pistons 11.5:1
Type-R Catless
K-Pro

AP2
"Stock"
A friend of his hinted at it being tuned. Knowing this guy, his S2k is far from stock.

Edit: This information may not be 100% accurate but I tried to not garble everything they told me.

It's hard to keep an S2000 stock...trust me.

I don't understand why people lie, in general. If it's got something, it's got something. Either way, I'm sure your RSX friend loves driving his car and it's certainly fast enough for going anywhere practical. There's always someone faster...

That RSX mod list is wacky....what Si pistons are 11.5:1 compression??

Also I'd say S2000 is fairly stock judging by the way it moved and sounded. Obviously instake wasn't stock as we saw the CF intake right there, but I wouldn't doubt the rest of the car being bone stock. RSX seems like he needs a better set of bolt ons and a tune.

In stock form it probably did, the RSX is nothing special at all in stock form. It's when you start modding all three of these cars that you start to notice the difference. K Series > F + J

They're all highly sought after motors...and the amount of FI the F and J can take with stock internals...fuggedaboutit...

The RSX was fast and fun to me bone stock, honestly. Then again, the only measure I have for a car is how fun it is to drive and if it accelerates fast enough to pull into traffic. Other than that, I really don't care much at all how it stacks up to other cars and how fast or slow they are.

In all honesty, yes AP2's are pretty quick little cars with bolt-ons and a tune but a K24 swapped RSX should be pulling a lot harder than that. Something's off with his car.

I'm still happy that the S2K won though. haha

Ahemmmmmmm . Judging by that 6spd Accord on Xenocron's dyno, I gained 49whp/37wtq untuned with my mods. The J responds very well to bolt ons, similar to the K. Although, not quite as much from a tune due to the DOHC and cam angles, etc you can change for the K. Mod for mod / Driver to driver they are pretty equal.

Stock 6spd: 186/157?
Me untuned: 235/194

I may actually ask Chris if it's at all possible if he could somehow overlay my graph and the stock Accord to see where/how much the power differs. I may do that right now lol.

RSX has mild weight reduction & the Accord is full weight. The mods are in the vids but w.e I'll put them here too. I haven't seen all that many J vs. K runs, tbh. I think we have the cleanest ones, too. We are yet to run after my tune, but I think he will still creep on me until I do the 3.7 heads or weight reduction.

RSX - I/RH/E/RBC intake manifold/Tune
Accord - I/PCDs/Jpipe w.custom collector/E/Ported IM/Pulley

RSX - I/RH/E/RBC intake manifold/Tune & raised limiter (8900RPM)
Accord - 4" CAI/PCDs/Jpipe/E/3.7 IM & TB/Runners/Pulley

Same mods + E36M with I/H/E/M50 manifold/weight reduction/3.46s

RSX - I/RH/E/Ported RRC/74mm TB/Drag Cartel 2.2s/E85 retuned
Accord - same mods plus my 16" DRs & light wheels

And yea something is off for a 'proper K24' to get walked, unless of course the S2K is far more modded than he says. Although it doesn't seem too far off, because...no offense to the RSX owner, but I have little faith in his knowledge considering he did a K24 build and still has a short ram...

I've wondered myself about that. He says it hasn't been an issue, and that the hood scoop dumps air directly in front of the filter. I'm skeptical though because I've have never understood how sucking in engine bay air can be beneficial.
