Did three runs; all 60mph roll to 110mph. TL won by a nose twice, impala won the last race by half a car. Turns out the 3.6 in the chevy makes 300hp. I knew it would be a good race. Edge goes to the TL; perhaps the tranny has better gearing.

5AT for the TL i assume? if thats the case, 60 roll is a bad start for that gearing :/

I am surprised the Impala did that well never thought they had that much rated power. The new Australian based Chevy should be a real killer when it gets here replacing the dead GTO.

I too was surprised. I always figured the impalas had a small output V6 with a mediocre 4AT. Not this one; it even has a 6AT. He wants to run me from a 40 roll next time. This time it'll be on video since it should be a really close race.

So wait, you're going to race him from 40 in your G or the TL again? Your G should take him easily. The 4G 3.5 TL is like an upper 14/15 flat car, so I'd guess the Impala is around that too

No, I'm gonna give him a 40 roll against the Impala. Kind of off topic, but we are setting up a race between a jb4 tuned 09 335i xDrive and an 11' Camaro SS. The Camaro ran a 12.9 @ 107 last time we went to the drag strip. Should be interesting...

5AT for the 2010 TL. The 2012-13 TL is a much quicker car. But from 40mph the 5AT TL should beat the Impalla.
