They are kind of blah, but in this segment, I'm not sure where else to turn. Lexus is out with the new IS350, Acura's on some distant planet and I don't trust the Germans.
I'm not crazy about the factory g37 wheels. The g35's were much better looking.

I was on the fence regarding its looks, but then I saw one the other day and threw up in my mouth a little. That grill is horrid. Plus it gained considerable weight but no power. It can't even trap 100 now.
Edit: Maybe that was a weak test where I saw it at like 14 flat @ 98. I just found a 13.4 on it but no trap speed.

The problem with G37 is that they are too heavy. Sedan with 6 speed manual may be less bad. I can't stand the look of the rear... looks so cheap. The interior is lower grade than that of Lexus too. I sat in one and smelled like toxic rubber and plastic. They cut cost since the Infiniti G20/J30/Q45 days..
Mazdaspeed 3. Aren't the new models out yet? You will love it.
If you are going to do a lot of drag racing from digs the 3rd gen IS350's will not be a solution even with 8 speed auto tranny cause the first three gears are tall like Infiniti. But 4th gears and up will be a blast, better suited for high speed rolls.
Why don't you get a 2013 model F-Sport IS350? You will love it. Test driving one for a few minutes won't do justice. You will have to buy one and you can get to see real joy. Everything has improved with the newer model ('11 and up) IS350. Throttle response is better too. The car is nearly as good as manual as far as driving dynamic is concerned.
IS350 F-Sport pkg wheel looks better. Do you want me to show you my pic? Here.
It's got IS-F interior.
The 3rd gen IS350 can't get 13.4 ET. They must have model year mixed up or something else. The new ones are good for 13.9~ 14+. 2nd gen IS350 is much faster, 13.3x.
HI and BYE.

I was just trolling, I love my G. I do wish it was 6MT but being that the 4th gen TL fell and effed up it's face, the G was the best replacement for my 3rd gen TL with the added bonus of RWD.

Really interesting stuff in here... Ive got a modded DE G sedan. You can take my word since I have videos to back it up. I raced many 5AT 3G TLs a couple stock/lightly modded 6MTs. Only difference between them is that the manuals stick by me way* more than the autos. The modded MT beat me by a nose to ~120. I also raced a stock G37 sedan; 15 roll to the top of third and had him by a nose.

anx1300c, 2nd gen IS350 F-Sports is awaiting to be picked up at Lex dealership for you...
Isn't this red pretty? The front F-Sport bumper design is a genius. Way way better than the regular trim (non-F sport).
I should have gotten the red not tungsten pearl (silver).

IS350 is too fast already. All it really needs is some race suspension mod. Since 2IS F-Sport dealer package doesn't come with all of F-Sport tuning items (Accessory) I will hope to get front and rear F-Sport swaybars, springs, shocks, and rear chassis brace. The car will handle like a Lotus Elise or Porsche GT2 or Nissan GTR. No power mod will be applied.

I doubt you actually raced the IS-F that day.
The factory-equipped F-Sport pkg like mine already handles amazingly. I had Mini Cooper guys who had trouble staying taking the corners. The F-Sport accessory items will take the car to a different class. It's called "race class". Beating the 135i would be easy with this mod at the track. Even the 370z.. modded Evo, STi, etc...

I saw a McLaren F1 get smoked by an IS350 today. Honest.

I know that didn't happen but it is logical that McLaren F1 beats IS350 even from dig. The F1 takes around 3.2 sec 0-60. The LM edition takes about 2.5 sec. My Lexus can achieve near 4.5 sec. Sometimes, when I floor it I get nauseousness. This is something I never got with MS3, TL 6MT, and TL-S 6MT... One day my Mom almost threw up in my car because of such strong G force. I am for real, not kidding.

And in a handicap race around the globe, the IS350 beat a jetliner by 14 hours. And the IS350 gave the plane a 4 week head start.
Plane is still missing somewhere between Malaysia and China.
I'm serious.

IS350 is more luxurious than AM as well.

You don't even need to breath in the IS350. The leather is so supple it absorbs the nutrient rich oxygen from the cabin (after 10 stage filtration) and through extrinsic osmosis, it superpermeates through your cells, feeding your body the elements it needs, making you one with the car.

Of course you don't need to fuck anymore. It drains your balls of your seed, using your energy to feed the injectors and explode off the line. The glory of beating a bugatti in a 1 mile race is a far better climax. Everytime you win in the IS350 (all the time), your cock recedes deeper into your body allowing your innards to stroke your cock while touching your soul.

Everyone who owns an IS350 need not pussy, since it drains the seed that feeds the IS350's soul. It's the reason why the smartest engineers in the world designed it to be compact, with the optimal wheelbase and perfect slushbox gearing. Even the pussy magnet was removed from consideration since it would not only draw away power, it would have increased weight.

FBO 135's are low to flat 12's, LOL. People run 12.6-12.7 on a bone stock 135 with nothing more than a Stage 1 tune. You really have no clue. Stock IS-F is a high 12's car. 12.4-12.5 on drag radials. I smoked the guy. Badly. It's not like an IS-F is a quiet car - you can pretty easily tell when someone stomps on the gas pedal.
The difference between me and you is that I've driven all the "race cars" you're talking about except for the Porsche GT2. I've owned SEVERAL Lotus cars in my day and there is no amount of suspension work you can do to an IS350 to ever make it compete on the track with a Lotus. That's just pure ignorance on your part.
Do you know what inboard brakes even are? No? Ok because Lotus runs those because they are actually race cars. Is that IS350 made of carbon fiber with aluminum reinforced chassis like a Lotus? Oh wait, no it's not - the IS350 is a heavy pig of a car.
That's like me saying just because I threw racing suspension, sway bars, and braces on my TL that it now handles as well as a GT-R. See how stupid that sounds? There's a hell of a lot more that goes into producing a street-legal track car like a GT-R or a Porsche GT2 than you will ever comprehend. It can't be answered by taking a run-of-the-mill Lexus and slapping some fancy-named "F" package on it with some shiny suspension. Get real.
But Justin it's so fun watching his responses.
