Nice road trip with my hybrid... I mean TL..
Took a trip to Canandaigua, NY. Roughly 320 miles from my NJ home. I was shocked that I was probably the only Acura traveling through upper PA to NY. At my 1st rest stop, people kept saying "Nice BMW".. Sorry sir it's an Acura.. A Accora? No, Acura.. Made by Honda.
I got a lot of attention on the road, even pulled over by a state trooper on I-81 so he can ask me what type of wheels and drop do I have..
Funnest part of the entire trip was getting gas in NY, this was me..
"Excuse me sir, ugh, how does the gas pump work?!"
Being in Jersey, never having to pump my gas I didn't know to go inside and pay for gas 1st then go back outside to pump. Besides paying $3.21 for 93 the 5 hour drive was pretty awesome. My average speed was roughly 67 anywhere it was posted for 65 and when it dropped down to 55 I was at 60. 80% of my trip was 67 MPH, for the rest of the time it was lower.
Pictures.
Quater tank used, 34 MPG 135 miles traveled in 2 hours
Half tank, 33 MPG 271 miles traveled in 4 hrs 22 mins
12 miles short of my aunts place, I filled up. A bit past half tank 303 miles traveled in roughly 5 hours.
NY State here I am, taken at my 1st rest stop
Made it home!
Took a quick pic of the "Stance" and CF wheel

Congrats on the road trip with the TL! Love long drives in our cars. I drive back and forth to Michigan every month for about the same distance- 300 miles, 5 hours or so and have a blast doing so. Michigan is a pretty state to drive in. I wanna make a road trip down to Kentucky and Tennessee next summer with some friends.
Your TL is lookin good. And that's impressive gas mileage. The difference between highway driving MPG and city MPG is astounding. I average 14MPG on my way to and from school...

Thank you!
Really just leaving it in 6th gear doing 67 anywhere it was posted for 65. The North East areas are tough on doing anything over. The guy next to me must have been doing 70, he was slowely getting by intill a state trooper flew up behind us and pulled him over.
Thank you! I took more pictures of the area. It's a whole other world in upstate NY. People are just super friendly, always say hi, good morning, good night ect.. I live right next to the hudson river so I see NYC, god forbid you say hi to anyone on the street you'll get the only look..
hahaha that's the truth though. BTW I resumed cutting off the roof, ill fedex it tonight to your house. The plane is going to drop it from the sky into your bedroom... talk about super delivery!
We have the same exact cars hahaha. I would say drive nicer and you should see 35, it's what I use to have when I was almost stock.
Thank you very much! And your avatar is f#*King amazing!!!
Thank you very much bro! It's vinyl and I use a special wax sealer which makes the vinyl look dark and glossy.
LOL! That's awesome thank you!
Sorry you paid that much for gas in NJ.. I live in Bergen county, the average is about $2.65 for 93.

18 isn't too bad. That's what I get on a bad week when my road rage gets ahold of the gas pedal.
