Has anyone added the aftermarket cooled seats to their RDX? The leather is perforated so it should work. Any air circulation would be great.
I can't believe Acura sells a supposed luxury vehicle without them. I am sweating like crazy after 5 minutes on the leather. (:

One of my first cars had vinyl seats and no air conditioning. I can tell you, if you are in a warm climate, the best thing would be a set of sheepskin seat covers. Not hot at all in the summer, and no sweating in the seat.

I just did our 14 rdx with the heated / cooled seats $1400 installed took 2 days gets cool in 3-4 minutes cold in 7-8 . katzsikn & roadwire make them both look the exact same

 

is it a kit? or a custom shop?

How does this work? Does it duct the cool air from the car's A/C into the seats?

 

it comes as a kit but requires a custom shop to install it does NOT use the cars a/c system it has separate coolers that mount under the seat & has its own duct work that has to b cut & routed thru the foam seat then their is wireing the switches up it req. a 20 amp fuse & 10 ga. wire from the battery to the switches where ever you mount them. the cooling system & fan is about 6"x4" x1.5" all in 1 unit then it has flex duct work that hooks to that.sorry no pics as everything is inside the seat
