WARNING!: Do Not Install light Weight Flywheel

Light Weight flywheel is problem only on CU2 not on CL7/9. CU2 have a different crankshaft, it is very sensitive to the inertia of the motor. What that means is a light weight flywheel will make all cylinders misfire. The ECU will go on limp mode to save the car from anymore engine problems.
Demonwerkz in Garden groove has great customer service by far on of the best shops in socal. Bernard and his team did everything from valve job, port and polish to all the transmission work. We scratched our heads when the flywheel made the car misfire. I had to contact CHIVIK777 to confirm this and he did. Thanks to CHIVIK777 they got the car running. To solve this problem, a stock OEM RSX Type S had to be paired with a Exedy stage 2 clutch. More mods coming soon! its going to be a BIG update! Cheers.

Is the stock RSX type S flywheel lighter by any measure to our flywheel? Is it a smaller diameter, thus a smaller amount of mass on the edge to spin up? What about the Type R flywheel that has been thrown around??

Type s flywheel is smaller in diagmiter and can not be paired with a stock TSX clutch. I have no idea about a type r flywheel ask chivik777.

I wanna do some work to this motor but no tuning options is holding me back. I would do a turbo or supercharger setup quick. Looks like you know what you want so good luck.
