Just installed a TiAL QR BOV, easy install. Had to trim the intercooler shroud a little. The TiAL Blow Off Valve Adapter I used Fits Mazdaspeed 3 / 6 / CX-7 ALL by Torque Solution.

So if I buy a BOV for speed 3 or 6, it should install in the same bolt?

Yes, it's the same and will bolt right up. By the way deschnes2006, can you look around canada and see if any salvage yards have a RDX canadian gauge cluster? KM..

I'm going with either a 9psi spring or 7psi spring. I'm getting a little flutter dump with the 11psi at low rpm; however at high boost high rpm it opens good.

This is just a little vid of what the current BOV sounded like, the 11psi spring is to stiff. I ordered a 9 and 7psi spring to see if it helps with the fluttering.

yes, I'll watch, but used parts are rare for Acura, even for our el 2005 is difficult. I know you yours if I find something.

Hey Ken, I've been following your posts around, thanks a lot taking the time to share with us!

Off topic real quick, what intake are you using? Thanks!

It's just a custom 3 inch pipe with a 8 inch K&N filter on it. That setup requires relocating the battery.

New springs are in, going to try the 9psi and work my way down if needed. When I open up the BOV it was a 12psi spring in there, damn harsh. What you see here is a 12psi (yellow), 11psi (plain), 9psi (white) and 7psi (black) spring.

i never noticed you changed out your return hose like from the bov back to the intake.. what kind of hosing did you use? been thinking of changing out that plastic one since it has a resonator box with it too..

second question have you noticed a difference in the boost pressure when changing through gears now that you changed out the BOV? some people say they can feel a difference others say there is no change was curious on your thoughts since you have way more done then me

I just have a 90 degree coupler T-clamps, s shaped pipe (on page 1 of the build). With all the stuff I have done I wouldn't feel much. The BOV looks and sounds better IMO.

Ok, before I got a lot of fluttering so I changed the spring several times and landed on 7 psi and it still flutter. Now, I put the vacuum line straight off the intake manifold and it worked just like stock but with TiAL twist. Now, I'm going to see what the recommended spring does (11psi for Honda and Acura vacuum).

Yes, I have a vacuum manifold which is running off the adapter plate from PRL that is supporting the brake booster, fuel pressure regulator, and water/meth. The BOV is hook directly to the manifold.

I'm running just an S shaped pipe like this one.

You will need to find coupler like this to complete the install. You need to measure your BOV to know what the size to get. (Example: ?-to-1.5 BOV end and 1.5-to-1.25 to the intake end.)
