i want to get my aspec rims painted in black only 2 have small curb rash...anyone knows a good spot in nyc?

 

if you care about quality work as opposed to cheap stuff that you'll have to get redone every year? i got a place i only go to for wheel stuff.

There's al hubcaps in long island. Some of the bmw guys swear by him. I heard kevin at sl metal is good too. I have been thinking about painting my A-spec rims too.

 

Kevin does incredible work, would definitely recommend him. Honestly never found his prices to be TOO expensive and given the quality of work, definitely fair

 

how much do u guys think it will cost to do all 4 rims? in nbp or a nice black finish

 

well i had all four of my volks redone (rash/bends/so forth) + custom full polish lip for 650.
and im completely fine with the price because of the quality of the work and the amount of time he had it done in.

 

how long did he take to finish and how do i go about it? will he pick up my rims?

 

Dude, if I were you I would to to this Tire/Rim shop on Webster Ave in the Bronx. I forgot the name of it, but it's across the street from the White Castle (look it up on Google) on Webster Ave. I've seen some of their work, and its A++++. Plus, it's not gonna cost as much as the other people are talking about. You will def save $$$$

i was wondering the same i live in NYC Manhattan and have a WDP TL. i'm in the process of getting a set of aspecs but they are painted wdp to match the car, my question is...if i want them to look gunmetal again, how much would it be? thanks for the help

 

Kevin from S&L is top notch when it comes to wheel repairs and polishing. He has fixed about 10 pairs of wheels for me personally. If you just want them powder coated there is a place called Action powder coating that does great work as well. They are located in farmingdale New york off route 110, they did my a-specs for me all 4 redone for 500. with powder coating as long as you dont curb the wheels you wont need to have them redone for a very long time.
