used/rebuilt engine source wester NJ / Eastern PA?

my lovingly cared for 2004 6spd needs a long block. apparently me screaming at the wife about how the engine was noisy and smelled of antifreeze (immediately after she had the local dealer do the t-belt) was not the motivation she required to bring it back and have it fixed properly. a few thousand miles later...bang.

anyone got a source for low-mileage used or rebuild engines in/near NJ?

i found a (relatively) low mileage JYD (junk yard dog). let's hope it was only driven to church on sunday...i consider it a "temporary" repair.

still waiting to hear back from the dealer. too bad, they were very convenient and had treated me fairly well (as compared to the tech in the selling dealer who 'balanced' my tires w/ 3 oz and 3 different kinds of weight...).

anyone have any place to get real labor times and a longblock or shortblock part number and price? i'm preparing for court-

I will be getting in a wrecked TL (rear end damage) soon. Engine will be all yours if you wanted it for price to be determined.

BTW I know of an engine builder that can rebuild that engine with better parts or just get you a completely custom beast J3.6 for around $4800. This engine would be installed for that price and pushes ~10whp more than the S/C on a stock engine..
