RSX Type-S Totalled

Hi Guys

My Rsx Type-S got into a major accident. The front got hit pretty hard. The car still starts but since everything is mashed together you can see sparks. Not sure if its worth fixing.
Any suggestion? The engine is good. the rest of the body is good. Wheels are good. Just want the maximum amount of money possible.

Damn...totaled! I hope I never have to say those words. Hmm...I guess your best bet would probably see what is actually salvageable on your car and see what can actually be sold. It may be best just to part with it. Glad to hear you're ok!

Got any pics of her? Im sure more members will ask also.....

I posted the pics for you OP. The accident seemed pretty serious for both airbags to deploy. Again, glad you were able to walk away from it.

Definitely totaled. My CL-S had way less damage and no air bags, and insurance gave me the money for what it was worth. Even if you do fix it, it could have frame damage and will never drive the same again, so not worth it all. I feel your pain about a totaled car it sucks

thanks donnieb83 . Yeah it was my fault. I lost control of it. There were lot of salt on a dry road and there was a sudden turn which I didn't expect so the car was tossed around on both side of the road and there were concrete on both sides .
I am glad I am ok. I don't have full coverage so not much I can do.
I am calling some mechanics to come over and take a look to see if they can take it off of me.

If anyone interested do let me know.
-The doors are good including windows and window motors.
-The engine still works
-all the wheels are good.
- I just put rear new rotors and breaks 2 months ago

Someone can make few grand selling each parts I guess. I will give it away for best offer.

This is 02-04 body style. I say take money and get the much updated 05+ and put all the money minus 2 grand down on the new car so you can buy i/h/ex and hondata ecu and you'll have a fast/nice rsx-s. I'm very sorry for your loss but that can be replaced. I'm glad your life was spared because you are something that could not be replaced.n nTake yoiur time to think but it seems to me you want another RSX-S and why not, it's a great car to have. It was the best in the group of sport coupes but in the end low sales killed it.

I agree you should part it out. Pull the motor and sell it and pull the interior and sell it off too. Just try to recoup as much money as you can back. Try posting over on here in the black market and maybe over on .com. Glad you where able to walk away from the accident.

are those tires Michelin MXM4? If they are, then it's no huge surprise they didn't handle very well.

glad you're ok.

man that sucks. glad your okay though. Initially i thought it might have been related to the snowstorm in NYC but I see it was before then. I agree with others that you should part it out

find a friend with a tow truck, start the car, let it idle till it goes on fire. then call insurance company and say ur car went on fire while putting it on the tow truck.
