Well today after I get out of work, I'm going to mod my dad's vette some more. This thing is going to be a beast!

HIDs for the truck are in the mail. DDM Tuning are finally getting their shit together. 5000K for Hi/Lo and fogs. It is going to look sick.

Then tint is after that.

I might as well call the truck mine now.

No lie, the DDM Tuning site went from "Process time for new orders is currently 7-10 business days" to "Process time for new orders is currently 5-7 business days"

It is about damn time!!!!

My TSX purchase was the result of a poor financial decision shortly after getting my first real job, lol

Still, loan paid off 13 months early AND significantly modded car = I'm happy

That thread would have gone so much better if you had just bitched about people unwilling to ship, in general, without specifically calling out "those Asian SoCal people"

I obviously didn't mean it in any derogatory fashion. Only one person got butt hurt over it (funny thing, he WAS the person that I was speaking of that spurred me to make the thread).

Even funnier is that after he commented, he edited his FS thread and said this:

Sorry fellas I'm trying to keep it simple, i don't have a paypal account nor do i want one ... with that said I am only looking for So.Cal Buyers ONLY ...
I guess not everyone has a Paypal acct, which I was wrong to assume. Meh oh well, I wasn't all that interested in his plug wires anyway lol

Nis there is really no reason to go off on a rant about it IMO. The key is building a rapport with the people on the site and they'll be more likely to want to help you out if you need it. Like I said in that thread, I have a pretty good relationship with many of the OG's in socal, so I know if I really wanted something they would work with me.

Nis, all of that was over some plug wires? All of the other areas of your car you could pay attention to/mod/improve, and you're trying to buy some plug wires?

smh, prioritize, son

It wasn't really, but I just felt like making a thread about it. I didn't want the plug wires really, it was more about the principle of not shipping something so simple.

Yea, I know, not exactly like I have a problem with anyone on the site. I'm an understandable person.

And apparently I'm not the only person who felt that way

I have no desire for another car at this point. I'm happy with my TSX/Jeep platoon. Figure I'll be spending some money keeping the Jeep running, which reminds me how glad I am the TSX is now paid for.

No

I have to save for about a month or 2 and then sell my car. I'm thinking July or August.

They are huge. LOL someone told me they wanna get a Civic cuz my car is too big. HAHA. I thought my car was a decent size (almost small) until I drove/sat in my friend's 04 Galant. Then it really made my car feel small.

im all about low and slow. but if your car is fast but you have to intentionally drive slow to cater to being low, then that's just stupid imo.
you need a right balance of form and function.
yes, lower center of gravity is great for aerodynamics and a wide/low stance is great for turning, if you have a car that low with very little surface area of the tire touching the ground, it's pointless.
that's why severe tire stretch is stupid.
i'm all for the hellaflush thing as a style of modding your car, but c'mon now... you need a happy medium.

and im sure that g35 is capable of doing more than 5 mph on a straight 90 degree turn.
