I never once said my car was fast, or that I'd beat Leo. I could give a shit, I know my car is slow. Leo seems to be the one hell bent on racing everyone with his superior exotic.

 

Haha at least we're on the same page then. I love my car to death and the blower totally made it more fun to drive and gave me lots of power all over the powerband... but it's still not going to "smoke" many things out there

 

I usually don't go around driving like an ass racing people on the road anyway. Spirited driving along country roads.......another story.

I was driving around on Sunday and a guy honked at me and pulled up next to my car. I was wondering if I was about to get shot in a road rage incident. Then he told me my gas door was open and I was all "phew"

And then later another dude honked at me and gave me a thumbs up in my rear-view mirror

unfortunately I already tested this theory and my RL with 4,000 miles on it blew away my 06 TL w/ 26,000 on it.

so you had an experience where your RL outran a TL (theyre both hideously slow).

how are you going to argue with all of the magazines that tested both cars and every one of them independently clocked a faster time for the TL? please dispute that.

 

there's nothing to dispute. When I bought my RL those same magazines convinced me that they are at best the same in acceleration. I was convinced and that was that.

Then I tried it for my self and tossed the magazines out.

When they test, they brake torque the sh!t out of cars. I think it's safe to assume that it might not have worked so great with SH-AWD.

either way, I read the same magazines and then tested it for my self.

I don't dispute their numbers, maybe that's what they got. That's not what I got.

 

of course, there's always a chance that there was something wrong with my 06 TL or the G35's I was going up against.

We can throw in more cars in the mix and test, I'm all for it.

you know what's really fast for a sleeper? the S550....had the EX in the shop today, rain sucked so nix on the SLK, i borrowed my dads car....

never actually drove it...but i think i would honestly give up both EX and SLK for a S550 4matic...jesus

only bad thing was driver's seat was so ...uncomfortable...i like bucket seats/sports seats...not enough lumbar support on the S550

so...i had a grandma come in to test fit her new dentures today...and she grabbed my ass....i feel kinda violated....and then she tried to hook me up with her daughter that has no citizenship.....how does a 58 yr old woman have citizenship but her daughter of 24 doesnt?...i'm lost...or maybe it's just i've never encountered it
