I also don't like the RX8. They're slow and they're chick cars, and that's coming from a guy who drives a chick car (TSX), heh. Nevermind getting ANY kind of non-warranty work done on them -- finding a qualified mechanic to work on a rotary motor is a nightmare, and not cheap. Also rotaries get shit for gas mileage.

I'd deal with all of that for an RX7, but not for an RX8.

5.9 seconds 0-60 isn't really fast, but genuinely quick. Relatively light weight, good balance. Good platform.

I think it looks good. I'd drop it, get a Mazdaspeed aero kit, some nice wheels, and I'd be done until I'd wanna turbo it.

I've always loved Infinitis, and Nissan's have had a soft spot in my heart, but 2 reasons why I don't want a G35/37 or any Maxima right now:

1. Everyone is getting into them. Last Brooklyn meet I went to, all the Honda/Acura guys were outnumbered by white G37C's ALONE lol. They're nice and all, but I wanna be unique.

2. Personal reasons why I don't like the Maxima lol.

And it's annoying cuz that VQ is just so full of win/full of torque! RX-8 has no torque, but it revs so smoothly and handles a lot better. Gives the coupe look while still giving me 4 seats and easy access.

I won't be able to do what I did last weekend (stuff 6 people in the back seat haha), but you win some, you lose some haha

RX-8s go from 4 figures to around 17-20k. In that price range, I'd consider Infiniti G's, TL's, maybe some S2K's, 330i ZHPs, and I'm not sure what else.

Lol! I saw one for a good price that was maintained well on RX8club, but it's all the way in TN. Couple fs in NYC/Tri-state in the 10-13k range.
