depends how thick the film is and how clean ur tailights are. make sure they are superclean then tint it using the film, but you should take it to a shop.
blazing's is painted, he orig wanted to tint it by using a film, like they did to mines. (we got ours done in the same shop, mines is with a film, his is tinted)
imo, i think using a film is nicer, they used a 5mm film. ive had it for almost 3 yrs, no go through ar washes, no bubble or scratches. they did a good job
