I was thinking of haven a weekly Acura meet. If anyone knows of a specific location were we won't be bothered, please chime in. I don't see any in essex, union, middlesex, sussex, or any of the counites. If i'm missing any someone please inform me. There's meets that go on weekly like Best Buys; Bridgewater, Kmart/Starbucks; Edgewater, AppleBee/Loews Hardware; Union, Hooters; Union (motorcycle nights on thursdays). I've seen ricers at Burger King; Hillside and Duncan Dounuts; Springfield (just a regular hang out).

im down for any fri or sat nights. yeh i know the springfield spot at the dunkin cops are always harrassing tho. Same with dunkin in union on morris ave.
i know of the meet weekly at applebees in union too i guess we could try that out. id be down. usually the applebees meets in union are on a wed tho right?? i forget.

 

What night is the one in bridgewater?

 

Edgewater is the Mecca for meetiing spots, and Five O in Edgewater don't even bother you......just as long you're doing the right thing.

I was there on 9/20 and cops were there and a flat bed. i guess they were just waiting..... they were harrasing the honda boys a little, they were trying to push everyone to the Starbucs side. I haven't been their since.

So far, it Monday nights. Alot of v-dubs and honda's their.

I went their after edgewater and its on Thursdays. I left around 12:30ish and people were still there but, they started goofing around and racing thru the lot.
Nothing spectactular, just abunch of various ricers...... Reminded me when i was 18 with my Subaru XT..... I was on Avenue C one night and i got a ticket just for watching some races. I never been since. So, i'm not down with that stupid crap..

Sometimes, I may take a peak when i'm on 22 and i'll see some people outside.

I think if the ACURAS come out we can shut shit down.... I mean really represent.

 

That hasn't happen in awhile, and like I stated before..........if you're not actting like a a!@hole in the parking lot.......on the StarBucks side........they won't bother you.

thursday no good for me. edgewater was fun this past weekend but only a few showed up. either way, it would be very out of the way for me to drive all the way to edgewater from springfield every week. so if theres any union/essex heads around id def be down to rep Acura at any of our spots get @ me

yah i just passed the dunkin on 22 in springfield and there were like 20 ricers there and like 3 cops. def not the place to meet.
(id drive thru tho just to let them know whose cars are better tho

I know VW guys meet in the Parsippany bus parking lot on Rt46 every Thursday night. I've been to a few of them and cops only drive by. They used to meet on the roof of the Short Hills Mall but the rent a cop always gave them problems. If there's something going on in the Union/Essex/Bergen area, I'd be up for stopping by.

 

I think the Dunkin Donuts on 22 is good or the Best Buy Parking Lot or Home Depot parking lot on 22 all are good for meets big parking lot and lots of lights

So, far the list is growing. Lets shoot for this Wednesday. Now we have to finalize on a location everyone can get to. K shawn mentioned Lodi, NJ. I say either there or Applebees/Loews on 22 East, Union since its already an import night. I guess it depends on the where the majority are closer too.

Ok, I'm down for Wednesday, What time and where? I'm down for anywhere on 22. I agree with GTACURA, the Best Buy lot on 22 is a good location. It's pretty open and lit up towards the 99 cent store. Either there or the Home Depot/Walmart lot, the far side of Walmart is lit and open too.
