Is 3M's Crystaline better my goal is to have the s550 reflectie look but more of a blackish tint. I don't want straight black tint on my wdp.

Had my tint done by Tom. To this day my tint still looks amazing.

Nice username! Potholes owned 2 of my front tires off my set new set i just bought this year. (Hit 2 different one footers one tire popped the other bubbled)

When I asked him about the huper optik it was $400ish, that was a few years ago not sure if he still charges the same. I got the solarguard tint and he charged me $250.

I was actually thinking solargard too. Don't want to instal expenive tint and the cops keep ticketing me.

I was thinking the same thing. $400 is a little out of my price range to be harassed by cops.

On a sidenote Lorenzos tint gave me a sample solargard ultra tint piece, it's almot clear. I thought for some weird reason it would get darker in the sun?

Really not trying to get typical tint but more of that reflective benz look, so in some lights it isn't as obvious as jet black tints.

i have the solarguard 35% tint, Tom told me it was gonna look extra dark because of my black interior. Cops pull me over all the time no joke. So I drive around with my front windows down. He does moleskin too.


The solarguard still look amazing. About 2 years with them on now.

You guys probably wont get pulled over as much as me, the precinct where I live HATES tinted windows.

On a side note.. the moleskin on my passenger side rear window fell off last summer because of the heat. The glue he used melted and left a pretty nasty residue on the window. I know he offers a lifetime warranty on the tint, gonna hit him up to see what he can about my moleskin problem. There arent any scratches in the tint on that window surprisingly.

If are you not looking for a black tint look I would suggest the huper optik. The tint materials are different and the color it gives off is more "neutral". It also blocks out more heat than the regular tint.

Rain X on the windows also gives a good reflective effect. Like in my avatar.

HO is def the best from the research I did. 3m crystalline, f1 pinnacle are up their too.

How is tint max in flushing?

I live about 10 mins from tint max. The owner is super nice. I dont know how his good tint work is, but I'm sure he knows what he is doing.

I suggest getting it done by Tom, you wont regret it.

Tom. Solargard was rated good too, not as good as HO or Pinnacle though. I need to make a decision by this weekend.

Lol stuck between tom and tint max. Tintmax has 3m and does everything, incl ppf an light overlays.

Infinite Tint in New rochelle is great too. Rob is awesome and uses Suntek Carbon series which I put on my Audi and love it everyday

Tintmax all the way!! Steve is the best when it comes to tinting. He uses 3M and if you really do your research the 3M crystalline line is prolly better than hyper optik tint. I'm not trying to knock HO tint but lot of people are fixated on HO tint when it's such an old tint. Lot of innovation from 3M... remember 3M is no small company.

Steves done all my cars for the past 10 years and I usually take my car there every week to get washed. Awesome dude. He usually gives the guys who mention my name a little break on the price.
