Thats the wrong vid i think. The blue car doesnt even look like a TL and im trying to figure out if the white car is mine since the wheels dont look black

Hey Libert69 I think we were messing around last night on the belt parkway. Im curious to know what your set up is? I have never ran a boosted TL.

Im not here to start any issues. I just wana say your car is really clean dude. You didnt seem like the roll racing type. I tried gatting you to run a few times. Im from NJ and rarely get on the belt so I assumed there were cops around.

My boy managed to get a really bad video of us runing I wish we had honked off but ohh well, we didnt expect you to run after messing around with you a few times.

Yea that was me I was on the way back from englishtown.

I was kinda waiting for a decent stretch of road with no cars but there really wasnt any except that one run where you got the vid.

I slowed down so you would pace me and you did but Im an auto and I just switched over to sport shift so I could brake boost and I heard you floor it. I guess you were expecting me to take off first idk. I was about to build a little boost and hit the horn but I heard you take off and by the time I had some boost you were in front of me already and I was stuck trying to play catch up.

It would of been a good run if I brake boosted. Even better if I drove home on my track map which I should of since I still had about 3 gallons of 100 octane in there

The rest of the ride on the southern state had too much traffic.

Your car is quick. Whats it run? HP?

Ohh sorry about that dude. It would of been nice if I waited I guess. Ahh im still tuning my car I havent dynoed yet, but just last night i found out about a dyno day in linden,nj for $30 this saturday. I might go. My set up should be capable of 430-450whp, the car weighs about 3100lbs. I would say I was maybe 320 when we raced thats really a guess.

You have a precision 62mm what time of hp do you make?

13.8 @ 107 with a horrible 60' of 2.6.

Once we figure out how to get this thing off the line better (lots of lag off the line, cant powerbrake either) and get that 60' down to atleast a 2.1, add a little more boost and we have 12's hopefully

Yea my car with me in it weighs in around 3800 NO weight reduction yet. My last dyno with 8psi made around 340whp.

Best run was 13.8@107 horrible 60' 2.6

For you to hit 12s you need to trap like 114-115 to hit high 12s. More boost a perfect launch and a 2.1-2.0 60ft should get you there. I wish you luck man! I love the way your ride looks.

Thats impressive but good luck getting 2.1-2.0 at 60ft with heavy FWD and that amount of power.

I did 2.15 on 60ft and 14.1 at 98.8

Libert, without more boost you should be able to hit 12s. However, if and ONLY IF you get that 60' down!!! If you get a 2.1 you will be in the 12s with your current setup. Better tires would definitely help. Obviously with more boost it will be much easier to hit 12s. I'm going to Island Drag on Sunday you are more than welcome to come! I've never been there but I heard you get a lot of runs there.

The nitto invos I have now hook very well on the street and they hooked very well on the track also. I get a little spin off the line but theres a good amount of lag up until 3500rpms. Once we get this tune sorted out to run lean and pull a little timing off the line to get some spool, the 60' should be much better.

If that doesnt work then my last resort is a small 30-40 shot off the line to get me moving. Thats a last resort but something I would not count out

I have to work sunday but eventually Ill be going back and we can try to get quite a few members to go

thats is true you do get a lot of runs i got 18 in one day and i stopped lol but i dont like the track prep after the first hour it doesnt hook anymore they dont keep up with it, but hopefully it wont be the case this time and everyone catches traction.
