I have to appear in court to fight two tickets I got 3 months apart from the same cop apparently. Anyone have any advice to share on this? I postponed it for as long as I can already. Thanks!

Ticket #1 - Entered HOV lane by accident, couldn't get out. Don't think this one could be fought, but hoping the cop won't show.

Ticket #2 On the BQE merge where the Hamilton Ave exit is. Was at the dotted line( close to becoming a solid line) stuck in traffic trying to merge. Truck started letting me go and then moved up. First time driving my TL and I got scared and moved up a little and probably went into the solid.

 

Where was #1? Best bet on these would be a lawyer. You can also call and delay either once via phone or by going into the TVB if you need time to search for one.

Nope I got them 2 months apart. Same cop, different areas. I actually pushed it as far back as I could already. So the cop showed up and judge wouldn't dismiss it despite my clean 10 year record....

argg....defensive driving it is.

 

#2 is a known trap. They're usually there busting all the people cutting in at the end. My guess is you were also in the HOV on the BQE? Gluck, did you lawyer up? Might be tough to beat.
