um so if anyones at the meet now. ask them to come back again next sunday weather permitting.
i wanna go to one last meet before i leave lol.

Ill give a gist of it, details later on.
Go to meet Shawn near his job w/Sam, they went to Toys r us by Belt Pkway. Drove from Belt, to Van Wyck, to GCP, to the park, only to find out we were on the wrong side. Rain begins to pick up. Turn back around, we don't know where the hell to go. Met up w/keith to go to the spot, keith takes off and leaves Sam and I behind a few cars. Turn back, wait for them to return to go back out. Shawn says there was like one car there. Finally get to the lot, it's raining. Meet up with Chi (sp) and Jim, two 2nd Gen TL's with Honda logos, and roof racks. Ice chunks on the road next to it, puddles everywhere (wtf). Decide to hit up green acres. Keith takes off on the Jackie and leaves.
Finally get to Green Acres courtesy of Sam's incessant, impatient honking of his horn to people going too slow. Go in the garage, we have a whole floor to ourselves. Sam steals my tripod. Take some pics. My flash nearly gets taken out w/my umbrella in the wind. Shawn almost runs over my flash with his car moving to another spot. Take some pics. Harrassed by security. Chi leaves, everyone else decides to go in the mall to get some grub. We get Japanese/Chinese food, walk around, Shawn wanders off to look at big faced watches. We get Ice cream. See this weird dude with stripes. We depart. Get caught in traffic on the belt.

Would def like to see some pics of the 6 cars that showed up lol. Next weekend the 20th should be the official date to have the meet. Hopefully the weather is nice.

to finish my day at the meet...on the way home i saw 3 accidents...n barely even saw the road from how much the rain pickd up....
?y do trucks pick up so much f ing water?!?!

Sounds like an interesting meet, I had taken the day off of work only to realize it was bad weather and I decided to stay in.

"Memorable" ones were an SUV on its side and the rescue crew had to cut A,B, and C pillars on one side to peel the roof open like a sardine can. Then there was the BMW 3 series with ALL windows shattered and all airbags deployed, parked on the gas station lot. Then there was a small compact that made a turn and slided across the road and t-boned another car. All occupants were missing by the time I saw these.
Amazing freak weather!
