Update
Just to mention that part of next Sunday's drive we will be stopping at Lomotion in Poughkeepsie NY for some donuts and coffee. JJ the owner will be opening his facilities for all of us to tour. These guys are tuners, have a nice inventory of cars and were at Bimmerstock showing off their yellow supercharged E46 M3.

We will end the run at Bear Mtn. State Park to join in for the celebration of Ocktoberfest for some oompah bands, brats and beers!!

It's going to be a great turn out that you won't want to miss!

Auf weidersehen!!

Do it. You won't regret it, it's a great experience. You want to be well rested for this as being alert and able to react quickly is of the upmost importance.

By the way I'm also in BX if you wanna leave together.

No slacking, it's the last of the season and since you'll be tired from long day at work Friday. All the more reason to go to sleep early on sat and come.

Bring whatever you like that has four wheels and you can keep up with. I can say how long they usually last as I've only been to one and this one is going to be a little different.

We did the run for about 2hrs with brake cool down stops. Then afterwards the guys were heading in a caravan to some dinner way out from bear mountain and I decided to go home. This run I assume will be 2hrs (or more) as well but Octoberfest is going on it bear mOuntain and they'll be chilling there afterwards; I'll stay for that.

Had a great time. Unfourtnately I brought my E60 instead of the TL. I saw your car heartls you were behind me as we left lomotion. Too bad you got pulled over 5 min later . Didn't see you after...guess you headed home. Hope you got no tickets.

We had 2 small accidents involving M3/135i and I believe a few more tickets.

Ooo you were the dark silver 5 series. Lol holy shit, that's a lot that went on. I had an awesome fking time, after the 1 part of run before we stopped at the firehouse my brakes were literally smoking for 5min! I showed the officer my pba and he let me go, no ticket and returned the card. He didn't have it out for me; was really polite and said "people are speed past me and they (law abiding citizens), expect me to do something".

Although this meet and run was great it wasn't as good as my 1st because there were a lot of attendees, destinations, and the route back to bear mountain wasn't the safest (poopoo wise).

Edit: I didn't head home but everyone sort of got separated after that, I tired to makeup time by going 75 down 44 and eventually caught up with the back of the group that was separated from the rest. When they didn't make a left on the detour I left them and came up to 9w.. Still trying to makeup time i was flying down that and saw two tiburons from the pack, pull over, got together and we had a nice run to the mountain. Once I got to mountain everyone was sort of separated we got there before everyone else and even at the mountain ppl started getting lost goin into parking lots and such instead of the tower! I said my good byes and drove home like an Christian!

Had a fun time today...

Had a great time today!

I was FAR from the photographer, plus I was driving solo, so not so easy for me to be driving and taking pics, but here's what I was able to take:

At Lomotion - We had an awesome brunch there, thanks to the staff of Lomotion for being so accomodating!

Bear Mountain - Oktoberfest!

Rest of my pics are here:
/show/Enjoy!

Thank you for the pics shoofin, your Elise looks great; wish I drove near you some to watch you tear it up!

Unfortunately the camera didn't capture it but my right front brake was smoking when that picture was taken!

Thank you khan! Next season I hope to be able to go at it more aggressively with lighter wheels, summer tires, lowering car and more performance mods. By the way I heard there was anincident later in the day and that the owner of the late model m5 drove between (to avoid) two cars as they were having a crash?

One of the drivers had a 1series, if it was you I hope you and your wife/gf are alright!

It was me and the other car was the e90 M3. We didn't crash into each other but skid off the road a little. M3 was leading and I was following. I guess we got too competitive at a point where we pushed our cars a little more than the limit. I got few little scratches on the door and front bumper, nothing big Thank God. And the M3 guy was saved as well.
