Ramen in Seattle area?
Ramen in Seattle area?
Hey all
Still fairly new to the NW, only been in the area for about a year, and I've been overseas for 7 months or so of that.
With that being said... I was lucky enough to spend a week in Yokosuka, Japan back in July. While I was there, I got to experience REAL Japanese ramen. I've been craving it every day since then, and can't find it anywhere (I live across the water from Seattle, in Kitsap County.) I'm willing to pack up the wife and kid, and go across the water if I have to... But I need some Tonkotsu!

Welcome to the area! You got several options
Kukai in Bellevue- Its only been open for a month, really good reviews.
Samarui Noodle- UW, and chinatown. I've been there a few times, its okay.
Aloha Ramen in Greenwwod (North Seattle), Been here once and its okay as well.
Good luck!
