Potentially Seattle bound...
Greets all, looking into a possible career move with the government to the Seattle, WA area. Trying to get a different perspective form people there. Most folks I know are like it's overcast and rainy 95% of the time and that makes it sound like gloom and doom. What do you have to say about that? I'm a native NY'er whose former USAF and currently resides in GA. Thanks.

As a single guy you you should know that most of the ladies here in the Pacific NorthWest are on some sort of antidepressant and have major father issues.
Here are some of the problems with PNW girls that I've seen:
Here are some of the problems with PNW girls that I've seen:
- Insomnia - They wake you at four in the morning and ask you to clean up the barf that their cat produced.
- Increased anxiety - PNW girls tend to worry about small things, like if your mom will like their purple hair.
- Nausea or vomiting - On command.
- Diarrhea - Due to the massive amount of alcohol they consume.
- Sexual problems, such as lack of orgasm in women. -Yep
- Headaches - Big ones, like migraines
- Dizziness - From mixing the antidepressants and alcohol.
- Weight gain or loss - They are skinny when you meet them, and fat when you leave them (You WILL dump THEM).

Haha that was funny. Seattle is actually one of the nicest cities IMO. It's always green. We get all 4 seasons. Not that either extreme heat and then extreme cold. Sure it rains, but not 95% of the time. When it's not raining and sunny. It's super nice! Oh and did I mention our car scene is the best sides Cali. Im visit the east coast now and there's no import enthusiasts out here... As for the woman. Hope you love Asian girls
Hope that helps!

My short take on the Seattle area:
Pros: Diverse population, eclectic economy, tech companies galore, plenty of suburbs to choose/live in (from the affluent to the poor), decent food selection, good access to schools, medical care, shopping
Cons: Rain/cloudy days abound 80% of the year, not enough sunshine IMHO to the point that when I see sun I immediately run outside or to the window like a gopher; Traffic congestion getting worse each year; not enough sunshine; business & occupation tax in select cities; did I mention not enough sunshine?
