Exclamation Ethanol-Free Gas in Portland!!!!!

I can't begin to express just how happy I am that I have finally located a station that sells gasoline WITHOUT the 10% ethanol blend.

I was Googling around last night and found a topic on a BMW forum where a Portland member found a place in Milwaukie that sold ethanol-free premium grade gasoline. He couldn't remember the name but based on his description, I was able to find it very quickly on Google Maps. The post was made in July so I shot the station an e-mail and got a reply this morning stating they still sell the real stuff.

Olson Brothers Tire Factory
14115 SE McLoughlin Blvd.
Oak Grove, OR

It's just south of the bomber a block past Courtney Avenue. The station is painted bright lime green so it's hard to miss but if you hit Freddy's, you've gone too far. I am on this side of town at least once a week so I will be timing my fill-ups around those visits.

Something like this is so hard to find and I know many of you out there hate the hit your mileage takes on the E10 blended fuel so I'm spreading the word for all AZers in Portland!

I treated the RL to some ethanol-free 92 octane from Olson Bros. tonight and so far, she seems to be loving it! The price ($3.43 per gallon right now) is a bit steep but quite honestly, I think the extra 20¢ over E10 92 octane is totally worth it. As soon as the Santa Fe comes back from the body shop, I'll be running that tank as low as I dare and filling it with some of this, too.

For those who are wondering, the service at this station fantastic! Their hours are 7 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Saturday. They are closed on Sunday.

I passed by this place when I had like 2/3 of a tank left. I only put 5 or 6 gallons in and I swear it STILL makes quite a difference. I swear it feels like it opened up 5-6 horsepower. Very nice!

Bad news is that now I'll HAVE to get this gas everytime I need to fill up A tad inconvenient for the time being... but oh well.

$4.22 I believe. I figured it's worth it, really. Only like 20 cents more than E10 at other stations.. So when you fill up, it's only about $2-3 more... plus you get better gas mileage.

I was driving down I205 and I barely kept my foot on the gas... Kinda reminds me of when I first bought my CL..

When I was down in Prineville last summer, I filled up at a station that didn't have ethanol.... Damn the Si came alive. I mean, obviously it's already peppy with the turbo, but it felt like it gave the car an extra 30hp or so. Even my wife was like WTF.

Westsiders rejoice!! I found another one about two miles off Highway 219 and Bald Peak Road just south of Hillsboro and just past the Farmington Road intersection with 219.

Laurel Valley Store
14025 SW Campbell Road
@ Laurel Road
This is hidden in case state officials come trolling but this place also allows you to pump it yourself.

I know exactly where that is. I've driven by that place many times wondering if the gas was any good...lol. Really that's only like 4-5 miles from my house.
