From socal planning to drive to norcal
Planning to drive up to norcal w/ a roommate for a muse concert in oakland. are the roads in norcal lowered car friendly? my car isn't too low (about 1 finger gap in the front, no gap in the rear). I'm planning to check out Monterey, San Francisco, San Jose, and Santa Cruz while I'm there as well.
From what I know, Oakland is a kinda shady place, sorry if I offended anyone who lives in Oakland. I also know that the parking situation in SF is pretty bad. I'll probably park my car in a garage in SF and take the Muni bus.
btw, any cool scenic spots to check out. i'll be checking out the 17 mile scenic drive along pebble beach.

watch your car down in oakland your car might not get jacked but the potholes theres too many to watch out for worst place to take a lowered car imo. I drove my car down to oakland a few times and 880 is not forgiving. Socal roads arent as bad but they have steep driveways but nothing compared to oakland or sf.

thanks guys. i think i've decided on staying at some hotel in fremont and staying at a hostel in sf the next day that provides free parking in the marina area of sf.
Scott, I'm still contemplating between taking the PCH route and the 5 route haha. I think PCH adds about ~ 1.5 -2 hours to the drive compared to the 5.
