Yeah I am def. looking forward to it.

Obviosuly...Wouldn't make sense for you to take that way.

Those directions aren't too bad to follow.

Just keep your eyes pealed and pay attention...you'll be fine.

I strongly encourage caravans.

They are fun and keep everybody together...as long as people don't drive all

Rolling shots FTW.

Nope haha, I may work in the city, and know how to get from point A to point B, but I do not know street names AT ALL. All I know is which direction it is, and I start driving that way, which usually means hitting the heavy traffic big streets

Def. there are streets that are the shortest distance from point A to B.

Coincidently...those are typically the busiest.

I try to avoid the main/popular streets as much as possible but I know all the side streets so that helps.

Hundreds of food joints were within one square mile.

Just not a lot of parking.
what part of SJ are u talking about?

From experience, SF is the worse place for a meet.. Love the city, but you can't travel in packs in SF like you can in any other parts of the bay. 1/2 the people from the last meet i'm sure wanted to go eat with us but 1/2+ got lost on the way to RT Pizza.. And no contacts FTL. 50-60 people showed up at the meet and only 15 of us made it to RT Pizza

If anything, Daly City should be a better spot.

But this is your meet, do as u wish.

Yeah...everywhere I go really. (Out there by Jacks Bar is one example...no better then SF)

I really don't notice any better roads...people ALWAYS talk smack about SF roads.

But I think it's just an excuse....again that's my opinion.

We have some bad roads (Not all are bad)...but who doesn't.

Yeah...I don't know why anybody had adequate directions to the RT Pizza.

If I were going to a place I didn't know I would expect to caravan to the restaurant without having my own directions.

Just saying...that many people shouldn't have got lost in 1 miles distance.

As for Daly City...maybe we can set up another meet there another time.

This is a cool spot and I hope people can look past a little traffic...because I do all the time.

it's true, there's an absurd amount of traffic pretty much any time of the day, you have to pay toll if you're coming bay bridge, and the roads really are THAT bad. There's muni/train tracks, uneven payment, traffic lights at each block, no left turns for 15+ blocks and hills, my god the hills. You might not be that aware of the horrible roads because your car isnt slammed but SF is pretty much the no go zone for slammed cars. Not only is it really easy to get lost but even if you know where you're going you need to know what lane to be in since many roads, the turns are lane specific and traffic is always bad so you cant merge with ease.

there shouldnt have to be any avoiding/taking other side streets with a car meet. You want to make the travel as easy and simple as possible.

Well...I would say my car is pretty low...

I deal with it everyday of my life...and so do many other tuner, vip cars, etc.

Everybody has an opinion...

There isn't an insane amount of traffic any time of the day...I live here.

You can ask others that live here too.

Really don't think it is much worse then San Jose but you guys have your own opinions of San Francisco.

I can't change them and it's too bad we probably won't be seeing you guys there then...

You know there are other cities besides SF & SJ? There are meets from many other forums in Daly city, San Mateo, Fremont, Palo Alto, Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, Milpitas, etc. They have flat roads, less traffic, and more places to park & grub. If you can say that SF roads are not bad, your car is NOT low.

we've actually had a meet at acura of serramonte before. They cleared out the entire lot for us. We then hit up the twisty roads and ended up at a speed shop for an organized bbq. Great meets have happened before and can happen again.

iono, its noah's call? i really don't mind either or. Probably will be easier for people to go to the serramonte lot. No views of anything though so that sucks. It'll just be less hassle with traffic since its right off the freeway. What you think noah?

We can always cruise over to a nice photo spot. Beach is not too far i think. Depending on the weather of course heh

Of course I know that.

My car IS low and I drive around San Francisco everyday.

But going around in circles is getting no where.

I can not change the meet's details for a few people who are not up to making one trip to San Francisco.

So you guys never drive to San Francisco then...?

For me...the point of this meet is to host a meet where I live.

I enjoy that aspect of The Presidio Meet.

I do not mind having another meet in Daly City but I have already set the date & location on three forums.

I am not about to cause confusion by switching everything.

Acura of Serramonte could be a great plan for another meet.

I would be more then happy to help organize another meet for that spot.

I am suprised they would let Acurazine host a meet there but that's cool.

Great meets have happened before and still are happening.

This is just a different setting and if nobody wants to do another after this one.

Then oh well...but I had fun, other people had fun and it brings people to The City that maybe wouldn't otherwise.

Win-win in my book.

Nothing has really changed or am I mistaken?

We can always cruise over to a nice photo spot. Beach is not too far i think. Depending on the weather of course heh
Let's set it up for another weekend.

I think it sounds like a very cool meet and look forward to helping out in any way I can.

Nope...just bring yourself and some friends if you want.

Glad you can be a part. Thanks.

ORLY? If your car was actually low, you won't be able to.

So you guys never drive to San Francisco then...?
I go to SF, my GF lives there...I just have to take my other car. The few times I have drove up there for Japantown in the M3 & 350Z it was difficult and I scrapped the sh!t out the lip, exhaust, & underpanels.

Well...what do you consider to be low?

I have less then a finger gap in front and my rear wheels sits on the fender.

I scrap everywhere...so if that isn't low then I must be

And if people's cars are lower then that...they should expect to scrape everywhere...not just in San Francisco.

A nice lowered car comes with a price...people would pay that price whether or not they come to San Francisco.

Look guys...San Francisco is not the worst place to drive a modded or lowered car.

I'm just not buying it...

All I can say is WOW. You are lecturing me about modded/lowered cars eh?

My lip has 2" clearance and the M3 TUCKS on all 4 corners. I do not have problems driving elsewhere in the peninsula and south bay.

True. I went to UCD for ug and yea, sac is pretty tore up as well but not as hilly and crowded as SF tho. There are many streets where I cannot drive on so I have to take long detours to get in & out of the city.
