it is about offset but also consider the design on the wheel. bbs lms in +22 may not clear tl brembos but te37s in +22 will. if they have a concave face, chances are they will fit better than wheels with a flat face

btw there's nothing wrong with running a small spacer up front (3-5mm) to clear brake calipers

Also make sure the wheels do not have a lip. You can do about a +45 (like 3G TL or A-spec) or +40 and they should fit. I tried fitting RH Evos with a +42 offset but they wouldn't clear without a small spacer because they had a lip. I wanted to run without spacers so I didn't get them. My next set of wheels is +35 with plenty of space, of course they don't have a lip either.

If you want to try out the wheels to see if they clear the calipers, your welcome to use my car as a test fit.

The rims that I want are Work Emotion CR-Kai. They don't have a lip so it should clear the calipers.

The no lip helps but with that offset, it's very close. If it does clear, it will be very close. If it doesn't, then you can probably clear them with a small spacer.

i looked into getting some cr kai's too a while back. what size are you planning on getting? they only look good with 9.5in width, the 8.5's and 7.5's aren't concave enough.

Ain't 9.5 a little too wide? That's why I'm going with 18x8.5 +32 with a semi concave.

9.5 isn't that wide

I could have had anyone on here a set of Buddy Club wheels 19x8.5 with wheels and tires for 500 no curb rash.

Gary passed on them..

9.5 aint that wide huh? Well then that gives me more choices.

Anyway I found a Aspec set on ebay and its the chrome color. But I don't like the black chrome, you guys know a shop or places that can change the color to the OEM gunmetal look cuz I might pick it up.

No, I was kidding.

I won't get wheels for a while probably at least another year or so.

I have some other things to get in order first.

Yup, your welcome to use my car as a test fit. I would have loved to use someone's car to test fit when I was buying the BBK. I could have used Todd's car but he isn't on much.

9.5 is wide when your trying to fit them over the BBK. Mike has a lip on his wide rims and they rub his shocks. Your wheels are really going to rub the fender if you have 9.5 width and at least +40 offset with no lip. Because that's the criteria you need for BBK friendly rims. Unless you run negative camber, but that's not for me.

If your looking for A-specs, check these out:

I was going to buy them myself but I've been hesitant.

Hmmm...those are the set that I want but its the curb rashs on all of the rims makin me think twice about getting it for that price.

Is that person here on AZ? Swear I saw that black CL with those Aspec rims on Azine b4.
