So I got off my lazy a$$ and did some work on my car last week. I re-painted all the brake calipers bright red, put in a Cusco lower brace, did the laxan foglight mod and also blacked the fogs and the fog light trim (soft gloss black), got new falken 512's, removed the mid-muffler and changed the oil and added some lucas oil products also.

Thats all for now. will post some pics when I wash it

For you guys who run headers, do you even get hassled when you try to smog or do you swap for OEM ones when its smog time?

I am looking at DC, OBX, or XS Headers, I have heard some people on the forums have had their $100 ebay headers do fine after a few years when using better hardware than the stuff it comes with but I don't want to risk it.

What kind of headers do you guys recommend? I am not too worried about noise as I have Aftermarket resonator, mufflers, and mid muffler delete so its loud anyway

 

with those headers u will get hassled... Since there not carb legal those ebays have bad flex pipes I beleive...

COmptech headers are the best but if ur on a price XS if u can find or DC

 

see if hey-suse is willing to sell his comptech headers

Putting new shocks/springs on my ride on thursday, I am getting help from a guy who used to work for me who went to Wyotech and has done suspension before, but not on a TL, mostly civics/integras.

5 hours thats a long ass time u wont even need that ur putting springs and shocks... peace of cake 2 hours if that..

We did springs on old shocks and it took 1.5.. with the shocks and springs put the new springs on the new shock take out the old throw in the new BOW! just like installing coilovers

America's tire thats where I get all my tires from.. I was talkin 2 that dude carlo but all he has is cheap tires. I asked him what can he get for 500 and under and yea no bueno..

U can always try 7 day tires too thats where my friends friend works and Larry got hooked up over there on some tires for 400 and there 18's
