lol nah, i was joking. We all have our hands full with last min stuff for all-cali. Im doing rotors today, alignment tomorrow, car wash/BBQ @ matt's on friday.

On a more serious note, I have decided to withdraw from summer school and will switch majors from mech. engineering.
I have wanted to become a mech. engineer since I was a HS sophomore but the math is beyond my understanding and I feel its better to switch now then even later.
My new major is unknown but im leaning towards my back-up major of automotive tech. I would need to spend another 2 years to obtain my A.S. My friend also suggested accounting so I may look into that as well.
I hope my 2 years at city wont be a waste and I will try to easily obtain a degree of some sort with the classes I have already finished. Wish me luck everyone!

Thanks Lito!
I know, I knew this chick in my chem class that was making 20+ dollars per hour as a pharm. tech and she hasnt been going to school for very long. its def very attractive but I dunno what I would do. Nothing like an RN but maybe something a bit more technical. Plus I like cars.

Like I said, accounting is still on the table for me. Maybe I'll be a young Noah. Im sure he's enjoying his job right now lol

Yea, my friend said to go do accounting. I have a pretty good understanding of math, just not the calculus type I guess and it would be a shame to waste all my math knowledge on a blue collar job.

Ill ask my counselor tomorrow about accounting and leave auto tech as my minor/back-up major.

Thanks Noah! For all we know, your advice could shape the rest of my life lol

accounting is alot of stress IMO. if the numbers don't match up, in for a world of hurt. i'd say do something you enjoy. money isn't everything.

Who? Me? I got kragen rotors. Either you get something expensive or something cheap for our cars. I got something cheap so you can replace frequently. plus 2 year warranty against warpage

hmm, the thing is that I dont know crap about accounting. I dunno what they do or what kinda work is involved in it. So im not sure if I like it. But I do know im a bit of a technical guy that likes working with my hands and I like cars, so I figured auto tech would be a worthy degree to have. Plus I already like working on cars.

Right now, Im thinking of consulting my counselor but I might get my degree in auto tech first before trying out accounting. cause if I take a couple of accounting classes and I dont like it, well then I figure it will be a waste of a semester. But i'll see, I'll update you guys. And thanks for the help!

You should tell aznboi2424 to do you front brakes for you. He did his front rotors last night in under 45 minutes with hand tools!!!

Yeah, I'm working at an accounting office for the summer and I agree that it's a pain when the numbers don't match up. However, if you earn your CPA, the jobs do pay very well.

Just take off the wheel, take off the 2 rotor screws, 2 caliper slide bolts and replace.

only did them that fast cause you were there, you practically did all the work. All I did was take off a tire lol

CPA is the certification for accountants right?
I talked to my counselor today, still have no clue if i'll like accounting or not. So im gonna do some career research online. I had another idea. Get my degree in auto tech first then explore accounting. Cause I know im doing auto tech for sure, I dont wanna waste another semester on accounting if I dont like it.
