Sacramento/Elk Grove Caravan to Acurazine 2010
Hello! I am proud and very excited to begin this thread because that means we are that much closer to Acurafest! For those of you that remember last year's caravan, we will follow in similar fashion:
This thread is for the caravan heading to the Madera caravans gathering spot that will then proceed to AcuraFest.
Please be at the dealership at 8am. It is a 2 hour drive to the next stop and we need to be there to meet with the other caravan at 10:30am. I chose 8am because I know things happen, people are lost, people are late, etc. This will give us a bit of cushion for those people and still make it to Madera by 10:30pm. We will be leaving the dealership at 8:30am SHARP, maybe sooner if everyone comes by then, but no later!
We will depart the Madera location at 11am. Many of us have GPS or navi in our cars, on our phones or have a portable navigation device. I suggest inputing these addresses in them incase you get lost or dont make it in time for the caravans.
When:
October 9th, 8:00am. Caravan leaves by 8:30am SHARP!
Where:
Elk Grove Acura located in the Elk Grove Automall, park along the street
8585 Laguna Grove Drive
Elk Grove, CA 95758
Why:
To caravan together to the Madera caravans gathering spot
Who:
Sacramento area Acurazine members heading to AcuraFest
Simple Directions:
Exit Elk Grove blvd, the auto mall is across from walmart. make a right when you reach the GM dealership and head to the end of the road. The dealership will be on the left side. Park on the street please, the lot is small.
Next stop:
The Home Depot

Final Stop:
Chukchansi Gold Resort-Casino
711 Lucky Lane
Coarsegold, California 93614

lol dont we all? but it just seems like its gonna be better especially at night when it gets cooler. Nothing like sitting next to the pool with a drink in one hand and chillin with your buddies

if i can make it u guys down to meet with me in stockton again ? that way i can caravan with u guys ? and are u guys staying out there or driving back the same day ?

I dont have a stockton point on the list. I think theres like 1 member in stockton and 1 in modesto and I wouldnt think we would have enough time to stop for just 1 person. You could meet with us in Madera or maybe I could phone you when we are in Lodi and you could hop on the freeway and join us.

hey group!
doubt I will be on this run unless they allow the 2 wheeled honda
but wanted to say hi, its been too long~
and suggest stockton/modesto area members be at hwy 99 ready to go 15 minutes after the group leaves elk grove
between cell phones and seeing a group of clean acuras rolling down the road, you should be able to join right in
anyone need a seafoam lesson before the trip?
--the trip down would be an excellent time to run a can in tank for mid year maitenance, or can in half tank for `cleaning dose` before hitting the backroads
have fun-
stay off the laser~ chp hides in the shadows of overpasses and has total stealth cars,,mustangs cameros,,,its not fair!

Hey Tom! Long time no see, you still got the TL though right?
Anyone that needs help just hit up Tom, he's the seafoam guru. We could even make a meet out of it. I'll definately throw in a bottle of seafoam in the tank when I run out of the bottles of fuel injector clearer I have at home.
I'll be bringing my old lazer detector on the drive since we usually go kinda fast but we didnt have any problems last time.
Anyone that needs help just hit up Tom, he's the seafoam guru. We could even make a meet out of it. I'll definately throw in a bottle of seafoam in the tank when I run out of the bottles of fuel injector clearer I have at home.

Updating the list from the Sacramento NSX crew. A couple of cars had to drop and the others will be in Fresno already, so we have four cars coming to the caravan spot in EG.

Thanks for updating the list for us. Glad to see you guys are making it out this year. I saw a good group of you guys at a car meet in Sacramento at the asian nursing home maybe a year ago.
Just remember to pass on the details of the times and such for the other NSX people since I dont have an account on prime.

Awesome! Soooo looking foward to this, reading the threads has gotten me hyped up.
Remember everyone, be at Elk Grove Acura at 8am, we will leave at 8:30 SHARP!! If your late, you will be left behind and you can catch up to us at the madera location.
Please copy the addresses down to the madera location and to the casino incase you get lost. We will not wait for you. Bring your GPS or even print out mapquest directions if you need to.
The bay guys are bringing 2 way radios so if your interested, you may bring yours too. Bring chairs and/or shade if you wish. It will be sunny so sunscreen or a hat is also a good idea. I probably will get chilly at night so keep that in mind.
Hope to see everyone in the morning! If you have questions, you may PM me or post on this thread. I will check here again at 7am tomorrow then be off.
