Heading out there for work later this month. Anyone know about the area? What should I see/visit/watch out for when I'm there?

i dont think theres anything that sticks out in redding lol, maybe thats why nobody has posted anything. ive been to redding only business occasions and i think its pretty country O_O but maybe you can google tourist sites in redding? good luck (:

 

I lived there for a year in 08...not a whole lot out there. The roads up to Mt.Shasta are a blast to drive and Whiskeytown is pretty cool when it's not surrounded with forest fires. Lots of homeless folk and bad eggs though, so park under lights! We had a homeless dude break into our garage and sleep inside my old jetta...
