I was planning to but my car wanted to pull a CEL on me today for cylinder misfire in cylinder 1,4,5. I replaced all my spark plugs but it didn't change anything so I'm going to do the coil packs next ... there goes my mod money

 

^ damn that sucks man, i know that feeling... I had money aside for a new set of wheels but my tranny went out.

 

Have the same problem cylinder 4,5 and random misfire changed the spark plugs, changed the coils, for got wat else ive done bt car is still misfiring.

 

Wheres the photoshoot at? i mite cum by to check it out.

Teo, check the resistance on the coil packs. If one is misfiring, it usually causes others to misfire as well.

 

Yea i did this and it seems cylinder 1 is the problem. All the other coil packs when removed, slightly drop the rpms but when i removed cylinder 1, nothing happened. Also i believe its causing random misfires because when i removed 6 and 3 the CEL was flashing and after i tested all the cylinders one more time the CEL didnt flash on 3 or 6 like it did before, but in cylinder 1 still nothing changed. So im assuming its the bad coil. Where could i pick up a coil pack at a decent price for im going to try to fix this tomorrow.

Rear bumper and just scrapped some paint off no major damage. Can't believe I did that though.

Yea what a small world. But yea man I already fixed it I just said eff it and bought a new one from acura but its all good now. Just have to replace my oil pan now....and cat which I've been lagging on for days.
