There will be some modifications to the judging process and perhaps follow some other show’s formats, but I wanted every car to have a chance. Even the VW pick up truck won but his car definitely deserved “most potential” award even though he worked here.

Yeah, definitely planning on keeping it. Originally I wanted to keep the Teg to turn it into a race car but I think I'm just going to keep it as a DD and moderately trick it out. I'm planning on having it look nice at least and get a JDM conversion on and do the beige to black or ITR interior conversion... just want it to look clean.
For the race car, I was thinking of just picking up a shell and building it myself or whatever options that may come my way. The new car would just be one of those weekend cars, even if it's a FT-86 and what not. I thought about purchasing a GT-R down the road but if I do, I'd definitely have to race it, haha. No sense in having a fast car if you can't REALLY USE it.

If you truly want to use it as a track/race car, you better be sh!ting gold bricks. Nissan states that after every track session, there is mandatory post-track inspection & fluids change (at least $1K). If not, they can void your warranty lol. Every 2K miles, you would need to change your trans & diff fluid which runs close to $2K. You can DIY this for $1k + 4-5hrs & a lift since that is cost of the required fluids. Tires last about 2-3 track sessions ($1800) and front rotors/pads ($1800 for a pair of rotors and $350 for pads, oems are $600) depending how hard you get on them.

Treadmill Failure
Still can't believe I burned this thing out. I got a new belt coming. If that don't work, I'm gonna get a treadclimber or a nice nordic track treadmill.

lol...go check out slownlow.blogspot.com(blog)...slownlow.com(forum). ..i did all my research on there...then pieced it 2gether...then took it to the bike shop n had them assemble it...some of the 1s on that site r kinda like scraper bikes...but a good majority of them r hekka classy...
this bike came out to b a couple of hundred $$ pieced 2gether...if i were to build another possibly rigging a motor on it...then i would buy a complete bike...then buy the other parts to make it a low cruiser...that way its less of a hassle...

Only a couple hundred, really? I was actually expecting more, LoL. When you mean you took it to the shop to have it assembled, do you mean the frame was welded together or do you just mean the components were pieced together? The latter part is definitely something I can do on my own since I used to ride BMX.
the most xpensive part of the bike is the frame...around $180...then the bent fork was around $40-$50
