it just occurred to me...taking 152 through Gilroy to the resort will be BRUTAL! if there is a fender bender, cars come to a grinding halt for 2-3 hours.

is anyone else concerned about this? plus it doesn't make for good photos but at least people won't get lost on a 2 lane road

 

i guess I will washing my car on Friday... dirty rain spots.....

we took that road last year and it wasnt THAT bad but yea i know what you mean. problem is that we dont have any other alternate route that will get us there in a reasonable timeframe.

Starfire Pearl ~~ The white on Lexus' line. Was carshopping with the gf at Lexus and I was like...this white is nice...yeah thats how i picked the color basically. Either that or that mica red...sparkly thing dont know the name. TBH it might be the same as WDP, but i'll call it SFP since the bodyshop im having it done said there is a slight difference, just that SFP is a teeeeensy bit whiter. I dunno, but i hope i can park next to a wdp when its done to compare

detailing starts today

wash, compound, polish/galze today
interior clean and detail
detail and seal rims with Rejex (new stuff im trying out)

then tomorrow wax and UPP sealant overnight and will do the final wipedown just before i leave saturday morning

Yeah no time to detail. Just probably a simple exterior wash and spot clean interior.

Cleaning my wheels takes longer than washing the entire car.

The new Sonax cleaner I got helps but still takes hella time with all those spokes.

 

your PC is doing great noah! this is going to be my 2nd time using it on my car. after the first time it was great! i'll be sure to return it to you this weekend.


i love glazing my car, adds sooo much shine and depth. then toping it off with a good nanowax and FourStar UPP!

 

all the parts arrived in sync and install happens later today. woot woot!!!!
