Anyone in NorCal/SoCal/Cali willing to help with 6spd swap?
Ok guys, so i found an entire 6 spd swap (motor, tranny, 6 spd parts and everything) for a great price. Only thing is, i need some help putting it in once it arrives. Probably in the next few months. However, i want to continue to plan ahead that way im ready to go once it gets here!
Id attempt it by myself but it would probably take near forever to do since itll be just one person and ive never attempted anything like this before but im down to learn along the way. And i know enough to not be scared to try this lol. Plus ive been reading through everyones swap threads in the 2g section for the past 2 months to make sure of what i need i.e parts etc.
So if anyone knows someone who has experience with doing this swap or have done it before or would like to help out a fellow azine member id appreciate it!
Ill be checking this thread daily to see if theres anyone out there willing to lend a hand. Im located in elk grove, ca which is in sacramento and if anyone wants to hit me up ill leave my number or you can pm me im always on either lurking or posting haha. Did you look at fsttyms1 swap thread? He did a 6speed swap on his 2000 TL. I kinda scan over it and it might seems like he got what your needed. I don't mind lending a hand, dont know much about tranny swap but dont mind to helpin out. Let me know if you needed help. Free mostly on the weekends.

Yea I've read through his thread, the other kris' thread(6mtua5), phees and jcharged several times over the past few months. Just figured it'd be easier with more people with more experience than myself haha. And thanks man I'll definitely hit you up once it gets closer

Actually, I mean I already have every single part on hold needed for the 6 spd swap i just have to pay the guy the rest for the swap before he ships it. Which will be next month, thats more clear than my last post.

Yea i havent hit him up yet about it but ill definitely ask him if he doesn't see this thread before then lol.
But alright bro just keep me updated when and if they hit you back up. Im in the process of looking for an engine hoist right now to borrow for when the time comes.

^ In the next month. the guy is currently taking out all the parts from his car. Then hes going to load them on a pallet and get it ready to ship out. Im gonna say early-mid september
