3rd Annual Bay Area Cruise to Cruz 5/31/2009
date: 05-31-09
time: 9:30am
meet up at : Safeway @ 2558 berryessa rd. san jose, CA 95132.
gather up and buy food and stuff.
roll out: 11:00 am
from safeway we will all take 680s/280s to 17s and cruise to natural bridges in santa cruz.
*this is not a race. last year people took off and got separated from everyone. let's stay together and enjoy the cruise to cruz!
directions:
take 17 south and then go on to Highway 1 North toward Santa Cruz. Stay on HWY 1 through Santa Cruz (HWY 1 becomes Mission Street). Turn left on Swift Street and go all the way to the ocean. Turn right at the ocean and you will come directly to the entrance of Natural Bridges State Park

i'll be at work already coz i start from 6 am on the weekends...plus, cant afford new cars so brand new "used" is as close as i can get...

yup, scpd is no joke, especially on 17, if they know about this cruise, you can bet your ass they'll be ready to pull you over for the slightest speeding. i got ticketed last year doing 65 in 55 in a beat up 95 red tacoma... imagine how fast these guys in their slammed cars are going to be going through those twisties... i might just go to the safeway meet up. then maybe after lunch or whatever, go to sc on my own.

yea no joke. my friend got pulled over in her freakin prius doing 5 over the speed limit. IN A PRIUS!!!!!! it's not just one time, there have been multiple stories i hear.

I got my one and only speeding ticket in sc... 46 in a 30 
the one time i unmounted my POS detector.

im from frisco so it only takes me about an hour to get down there..

my friend called me at 7 and was like do you have any of the h tech guys number from sac kuz no one was at the meeting spot... I was like damn LOL
I know im going to hear some stories from those h tech guys about the drive up there plus my friends will prob tell me some stories

Keep your slow noisy cars out of my neighborhood
Keep your crappy, noisy, little cars out of my neighborhood, and go back to the ghetto where you all belong. We have enough traffic and noise without hundreds of adolescent morons cruising their pathetic little cars through quiet residential streets. Those taking up resident parking will have a hard time getting their cars out. They WILL be blocked in.

just got back, pretty fun. I was behind a really clean Black Cl in the line up to the beach that had polished mesh wheels and a lip with yellow fogs I think I have seen it here before.
