Twenty-Seven before the RLX
Twenty-Seven before the RLX
Firstly thank you for having me as a new member. I live in South Jersey born and raised! Cut thru the chase, I needed and wanted to get something a little bigger and easier to get in and out of as I’ve been a coupe guy for the last 8-9 years.
After shopping 27 cars old, new , domestic and foreign. I settled on a 2014 RLX (Navi package). The car was me the moment I saw it! I did huge research on it as I’ve never seen many around or on the road. From research I understood why it wasn’t a big seller or otherwise but I still felt the car was for me and bought it.
While under warranty after purchase I got a front end alignment done with wheel alignment all around, I found a TSB for the steering column (it squeaked when adjusting from memory) and got it replaced with a new one. Everything else was replaced new and inspected before my purchase.
I am more than pleased with this car and really didn't understand why all the not so good reviews. To me this is a well built car with a very nice engine under the hood. I take off when needed no hesitation. Feels nice, fits like a glove (I'm 6'4"). It's very roomy front and back. The screens and info panel are set up nice to me.
My RLX is a head turner being a Pearl Black color with a nice stance. When I took it thru inspection the inspector didn't know what year it was and thought it was brand new. To this point everything is good.
I'm a first time Acura owner and hope to be able to pick some brains and share with the other members.
